Oh cruise-how do I count thee ways?
I did a good job yesterday of getting the list started but there is still much more to thank you for.
Lets get on with them shall we?
Thank you for your 20+ dining venues which allowed me to eat mac & cheese {as an appetizer}
buffets for breakfast, lunch at noon followed by another lunch at 3, afternoon ice cream, 4 course dinners, pizza at 1 am, and of course-drinks any time I wanted them.
Everything was delicious–
Oh, except that one stuff my husband forced down my throat–I could go without that.
Thank you for the incredible entertainment your ship gave us.
Between people diving 52 ft into what has to be the world’s tiniest pool-
seeing a Broadway production of Chicago-
Watch Olympic figure skaters do triple axles {I act like I have a clue} on a moving ship-
Laughing so hard I
could have thrown up to your comedians-
Marvel at the strength that real people actually posses-
and best of all-
witnessing grown adult men take their pants off on stage just to win a competition
{Which may have included me whipping my bra off and throwing it on stage to help our team out-Unfortunately I have no picture.}
Thank you for allowing me to dance The Cupid Shuffle not just once, but TWICE aboard.
I am pretty confident that both times I shouted “THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE”
which had to be absolutely true.
Thank you for the endless rounds of BINGO.
Actually, I don’t thank you.
Give me a winning card and I may be a little bit more appreciative sucker.
Hope you enjoyed our $100+ donations.
Thank you for reminding me before I set sail that your alcohol prices can be a little over the top.
This provided me a way to show off my “class” and sneak in a box of wine on the ship.
Friends, meet my favorite sippy cup ever.
Thank you for the new friends we met-newlyweds, gays, straights, and crazies.
I loved getting to know every single one of them.
New friends are like the pieces of chocolate in chocolate chip cookies-only not as messy.
Just nice little surprises 🙂
But most of all–thank you for the time you allowed with just my husband.
Me and him.
Alone.
For 8 days straight.
Sure, we had our moments of silence
{because how much can you really discuss between two people that have only ate & slept all day}
And maybe moments of irritation
{So I might’ve spilled three $9 drinks…three consecutive days in a row..Loosen up ;)}
But we had moments of greatness–love–laughter-and moments that I will remember forever.
There is nothing that I adore more than
seeing–
living–
enjoying life
together.
You were perfect.
Love,
Moi
Refreshed-Peeling-And 10 pounds Heavier.
PS. I almost forgot-thank you for allowing me to act mature at all times.
I’m so good at it.
