Team LIY

Who knew a trip to the grocery store could be a life changing experience? If you know, you know. I’m not talking about just any old grocery, I’m referring to our beloved neighborhood Joe’s. Trader Joe’s, that is. Our area recently opened a brand-spankin’ new Trader Joe’s [better late than never 😉 ] and the LIY Team has been frequently hitting it up ever since. From their yummy stacks to easy, ready-to-make meals, our hearts belong to Joe. Today we’re sharing our favorite Delicious and Healthy Foods from Trader Joe’s, so you know exactly what to load your cart up with the next time you venture in!

P.S. if you’re looking for yummmyyyy and maybe *not as healthy must haves from Trader Joe’s we are sharing our favorites HERE!

Erin’s Favorites

Power of the Purple & Power of the Greens Juice

I wasn’t sure what I would think about these juices when I picked them off the shelves, but wow, I was pleasantly surprised. The Power of the Purple is very sweet [but also so refreshing] and is packed with 7 different types of organic juices – carrot, cherry, pomegranate, mulberry, grape, cranberry, and blueberry all rolled into one. The Power of the Greens has kale, spinach, green apple, celery, cucumber, lemon and ginger!

Organic Watermelon Jerky

I love snacking on this watermelon jerky for a healthy snack alternative. It’s simply dried watermelon [seeds and all]! I love that you can take this on the go and that the only ingredient is watermelon!

Organic Tropical Frozen Fruit Blend

I bought this tropical fruit blend to use in my Yonanas machine for a delicious sweet “ice cream like” treat! I love the blend of bananas, strawberries, pineapple, and mango! It’s great in a bowl with shredded coconut on top for a sweet treat without all of the calories!

Melodious Blend

I haven’t tried this yet so I can’t give an honest review of if it’s good or not, but I am huge fan of garbanzo beans so when I walked past this I picked it up and had to add it to my cart! We’ll see if it lives up to my expectations!

Peanut Butter Protein Granola

Peanut butter lovers, this granola is for you! It has 11 grams of protein per serving and yes, it tastes amazing. The only problem is that it’s hard to stop eating once you start so consider yourself warned.

Southwest Salad

A great way to have a healthy and quick lunch! I love Trader Joe’s salad section for easy grab and go meals. This Southwest Salad is delicious – black beans, corn, onions, peppers, and feta cheese with a creamy southwest dressing.

Lemony Arugula Basil Salad Kit

I’m a big arugula girl so when I saw this arugula salad kit I bought it immediately. It’s so fresh tasting with its basil lemon dressing! An easy and delicious salad to serve alongside your dinner!

Brussels Sprouts Saute Kit

For all of my fellow brussels sprouts lovers, this kit is for you! Simply throw everything in a skillet and saute away — it comes with shaved parmesan cheese, chopped hazelnuts and a lemon garlic vinaigrette! YUM.

Katy’s Favorites

Dark Chocolate

OKAY this 100% chocolate is not for the faint of heart..she’s bitter but if you’re trying to kick sugar and need that little chocolate fix after dinner this will give you that. A little goes a long way!

Grainless Granola

Trader Joe’s Grainless Granola

I eat gluten free and dairy free (well, most of the time) so I was so excited to find this GF and DF granola that tastes ohhhh so yummy still!

Sweet Rose Coconut Whipped Topping

Dairy free? No problem! Pair this Coconut Whipped Cream with the 100% Dark Chocolate and you’ve got a yummy (and healthy) snack!

Synergy Kombucha Cayenneade

Kombucha with a kick! This has become one of my favorite things to sip on! If you’re a kombucha lover I recommend trying this!

Coconut & Almond Vanilla Creamer

If you’re dairy free (or even if you’re not!) and want to add a little sweet to your coffee, try out this Coconut and Almond Creamer!

Organic Riced Cauliflower

I’m a big Cauliflower rice fan! I sub it for rice or use it as a side dish for a lot of meals, so I grab a couple packs of this each time I go to Trader Joe’s!

Vanilla Bean Creamy Almond Cultured Yogurt

Dairy Free and tastes SO good. I would eat one of these everyday.

3 Seed Sweet Potato Crackers

If I’m craving a carb, these crackers are a go to! I love them on their own or dipped in hummus. 3 seed means healthy, right?!

Creamy Almond Butter

I love eating Almond butter by itself or I put a scoop in my smoothie! This one is great and doesn’t have any oils or sugars added.

Cauliflower Gnocchi

Another Gluten Free swap that is so good! This is a great grab and go lunch. Top with your favorite toppings or sauce and enjoy! Definitely make this in the skillet or it will become mushy!

RX Bars

These aren’t exclusive to Trader Joe’s but I love having these on hand when I’m on the go and always grab a few when I make a TJ’s run!! Chocolate Sea Salt is my favorite.
