This time of year we’re all checking on the status of our swimsuits and coverups and replacing a few with fresh ones! We’ve all probably bought a swimsuit or two from Amazon, and quickly realized that there are some hits and a whole lot of misses along the way! So today the Living In Yellow Team is sharing some of our favorite finds.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I put this swimsuit on for the first time – for the price, I wasn’t convinced it was going to be anything worth talking about but I was wrong. I love how flattering this suit is thanks to the mesh detail, wide straps, full booty coverage and supportive chest area! I know I’ll be wearing this beauty regularly this summer!

Cupshe Scallop Trim One Piece [true to size, wearing in medium]
Here’s the deal — I love this swimsuit, however, I don’t necessarily love it on me. I am a 36D chest and while I was surprised that the chest area covered them, I didn’t have much [or any] wiggle room there. With one movement there was a good chance my ladies would be saying hello to every passer-byer. However, if you have a smaller chest than I, I would absolutely say buy this suit. The fabric is very soft and feels like great quality! I have seen it on many other people and it looks awesome!

I bought this swimsuit a few months ago for a trip to Florida and have worn it repeatedly since. If you are larger chested, this is a great suit for you! I feel held in in this, a little bit sexy, but still covered enough!
Cupshe Bikini [size up if in between, wearing in medium]
I’m still not 100% convinced I am keeping this suit yet as the top feels slightly small for my chest, however, I wanted to share it here because it is such a cute bikini option. I love the nautical vibes and fun straps in the back! If you’re a bikini girl, this one is worth a shot!
Tempt Me Mesh One Piece Swimsuit [true to size, wearing in small]
One of the best swimsuits of all-time that I’ve ever purchased from Amazon [and definitely the crowd favorite of all-time as well]! If you don’t own this suit yet, get it. It’s so comfortable, keeps you fully covered but does have a small mesh panel in the chest to spice things up a bit!
Casual Maxi Dress [size down if in between, wearing in XS] // Beach Bag // DIFF Sunglasses // Tory Burch Miller sandals [size up .5]
I’m all for buying dresses that can double as a swimsuit coverup which is exactly what this maxi does! I’ve worn this thing to dinner, to the pool, and on travel days with a denim jacket over top! It’s an easy coverup to throw on and go for the day and is super soft and comfortable for all of your lounging needs!

Calling all brides to be, I feel like this is the swimsuit coverup you need for your bachelorette trip or honeymoon! And heck, if you’re over 15 years into your marriage like yours truly, it’s still a great coverup to rock 😉

If you prefer your swimsuit coverups to be on the shorter side, this cutie is a fun option for hot summer days! Very breathable, lightweight, but quite a statement maker!

An old-time favorite here at LIY, this coverup took the internet by storm a year or two ago and so many of us are still rocking it on our pool or beach days! It comes in a plethora of colors, covers you up enough to feel comfortable enough walking into a beach bar and washes up perfectly! If you don’t have this in your coverup rotation yet, you may want to add it to the mix!

I ordered several Amazon swimsuits recently, and I was least excited about this one…. Until it arrived, and then I fell in love! It’s simple, but comes in a ton of colors, has a great fit, and is priced right! Add in the kimono coverup, and I’m ready to take this look to the beach!

I love a plunge one-piece, and this one is a great option! I like that plunges but still has a string there in the middle to keep the cups together! Plus, it’s also a lace up back! This button up coverup is also a great option to add a layer to seem a *bit* covered without completely covering up!

I fell in love with this crochet coverup almost two years ago, and it’s still one of my absolute favorites! I’ve worn it everywhere from local lakes to the beaches of the Bahamas, and it’s held up surprisingly well!

If you’re looking for a one piece with a little plunge this one has great coverage and feels very comfortable. Plus, so many fun colors for the summaatimeee. I will say the back (shoulder area) had a little bagging on me!

This color combo…I MEAN 😍 and they have so many other fun options! I will say, definitely size up at least one but I recommend two because this set runs small!

I was very pleasantly surprised with this bikini! I think the prints are so cute and it’s flattering from the high waist to the bum coverage (can I get an AMEN 🙌)

I’ve struggled to find may one piece’s that I really like, but this one was a winner! I love the one shoulder, color blocking, and color options! I went with this kelly green, but honestly feel like I need to snatch up all of them. Cheers to a fun Summer, y’all!

The reviews said great for the mom bods so I added this one to my cart immediately and I love it! It has become my go to swimsuit every single time. I always struggle finding a suit that ACTUALLY covers my butt (lol) but this one does the job! Available in several colors.

I am forever on the hunt for swimsuits that walk the very thin line between feeling covered and feeling sexy. Too far in either direction and I just don’t feel comfortable. This swimsuit is the perfect balance! I love the plunge with the lace up tie front that keeps things securely in place! The back is fairly open with a criss cross action and some adjustable straps so that you can get the perfect strap length for your body. I am also loving the ribbed texture and Caramel color that is just the right amount of fun compared to my usual choice of solid black!

I’m loving this easy breezy cover up. Wear it open, wear it closed — either way it looks cute! I love the flowier fit and the relaxed dolman sleeve for throwing it on and heading to the beach or pool!

This suit is perfect for pairing with a skirt or shorts to run any pre-pool errands! I love that it has the look of a cute top, covers that little awkward area of armpit fat, and I can’t be happier! I also love the fun open back, but that it covers the booty like a champ! Can’t wait for the weather to warm up to take this cute suit for a swim!

Allison here! Skye and Erin loved this cover up, so I thought I’d give it a try for us TALL girls. I felt like it was a decent length for a cover up on my 6 foot frame, and the material was soft and not scratchy (which is a plus for sun kissed skin). I’d say it’s a great length for all body types!
