Introducing the LIY Ambassadors

March 24, 2021

The best part of Living in Yellow is, you. We’re here to represent you, learn from you, empower you and celebrate you! Over the summer we started brainstorming how we could bring more diversity, inclusivity and body positivity to LIY. In order to create an environment that is more inclusive, representative and welcoming to women everywhere, we have had the honor of welcoming 9 women from all walks of life [including Skye and Allison that you may already know!] who represent a full picture of our community. We are so thrilled to announce the Living in Yellow Ambassador Program. We are so excited for you to meet them, connect with them, and welcome them with the kindness and grace you have shown the Living in Yellow team. Since you’ll be seeing a few of these new faces popping up around here, we’re taking a moment to formally introduce the amazing women that make up the LIY Ambassadors. So without further ado, let’s meet the ladies…

Meet Aundrea

Hi! My name is Aundrea! I grew up in Granger/South Bend, Indiana. I am a proud elementary teacher! A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. On the weekend, you can find me with a good realistic fiction novel, singing at an event, or binge watching series on Netflix!

Fun Fact: If I could eat one thing forever it would be Chick-fil-A!

Meet Lisa

Hi all! My name is Lisa. My husband and I have a beautiful blended family that keep us busy & laughing. In my downtime I enjoy walking our sweet pup Ellie in our historic neighborhood, sipping craft beer, searching fashion blogs, I love getting lost in a good book, and live music can’t return fast enough!

Fun Fact: I am the Director of Development for a nonprofit!

Meet Rema

Hi, I’m Rema! I currently work with a medical software and expansion team. I have a huge family, 5 siblings, 5 cute nieces and an adorable nephew. I love to cook, workout, and travel.

Meet Heather

Hi there! I’m Heather, a 34-year-old, married, working momma! By day I’m a Customer Logistics Manager in the Healthcare industry. I’m Peloton obsessed, love to read and enjoy red wine!

𝙁π™ͺ𝙣 π™π™–π™˜π™©: One thing on my bucket list is to run a marathon – I’ve run over 20 half marathons but never a full!

Meet Lori

Hi I’m Lori! I was born and raised in the Elkhart area and love to call Indiana home. Family time is the best time for me. We enjoy our Summers on the water and our Winters waiting for it to end. To pass the winter months, I love taking on home decorating projects or traveling to warmer/sunnier destinations.

𝙁π™ͺ𝙣 π™π™–π™˜π™©: One thing on my bucket list would be to travel to the Maldives or Bora Bora.

Meet Sthefany

Hello, I’m Sthefany! I am originally from El Salvador, the tiniest country in Central America, but moved to Indiana when I was 12 years old. Ever since then I’ve had a passion for traveling and have made an effort to discover new places every year. Aside from traveling, I enjoy spending time with my family, furry child, and of course shopping!

𝙁π™ͺ𝙣 π™π™–π™˜π™©: If I could eat one thing forever it would be Pad Thai!

Meet Ashley

Ashley here! I’m a 30 something mom to 3 girls. My partner and I have a beautiful blended family with 5 children and a grandson between us. We are recent first time homeowners & just adopted a dog! Life is very busy but very rewarding πŸ˜Š Lately my days are filled with trying new restaurants, working on our new home, & traveling when possible.

𝙁π™ͺ𝙣 π™π™–π™˜π™©: Something on my bucket list is to live on a tropical island…maybe even buy my own!

Meet Skye

Hi! I’m Skye and I’ve been working with Erin & the LIY team for 5+ years! I’m an Enneagram 7, married to a pastor, professional baseball mom.

𝙁π™ͺ𝙣 π™π™–π™˜π™©: Something on my bucket list is that I would love to spend a month or more exploring Scotland!

Meet Allison

Allison here! I am a 6 foot tall, 45 year old former first grade teacher and mother of 2 teenage children; Luke (17) and Hannah (15). A little over a year ago I went through a divorce after 20 years of marriage, and my life was literally turned upside down! During this time, I started sharing tall finds for the LIY community as I’ve transitioned into my newly independent, single life. I have loved every second of it!
