THE TIME HAS COME FRIENDS! I can’t believe it is finally here. While it has been a whirlwind of the past few months which has absolutely flown by, it feels like it’s been a decade that I’ve been waiting to share this Gibson x Living In Yellow collaboration, available NOW at Nordstrom.com with you! A collection of everyday versatile pieces that feel great, look awesome on all shapes and sizes and can be worn again and again. Putting together this line was one of the most exciting, challenging and exhilarating projects I’ve ever worked on. It was our goal to bring you pieces that you could easily wear on a daily basis – no fuss, color palettes for everybody and all of the best basics that you can mix and match together to create endless outfits. At the risk of getting long winded, I’m going to shut up now and allow you to check out the collection for yourself below!

Before we jump completely in, as you’ll see, I am noting sizing suggestions for each piece based on how they fit me personally. Of course, that information is only as good as the stats you have so let’s get that out of the way. I am 5’4, 125 lbs on a good day, typically a 2 in tops/dresses and 26 in jeans/pants with a preferred inseam of 26-28 inches. Bra size is 30DDD [I get it from my momma]. Hopefully, this helps when determining what size you’d need. While on the topic of sizing, in ALL of the pieces below you will find inclusive sizing which offers XXS petite – XXL petite, XXS – XXL and 1X-3X. We are beyond excited to be able to offer women of all shapes and sizes the ability to feel confident and beautiful while wearing our collection. Okay, let’s do this!

Felicity V-Neck Tee – Name voted on by our readers, Felicity means Happiness and if there is one thing that this basic tee makes us, it’s happy.

I promise you this tee will be one [if not] the best feeling tee you’ve ever had. You won’t want to take your hands [or body] off of this basic piece. I love it for many other reasons including but not limited to the sheerness factor which is almost ZERO [FINALLY! A WHITE TEE YOU CAN WEAR WITHOUT EXPOSING IT ALL!], how the V is the perfect depth to where you can show a little bit of that skin but not too much where you question if you can wear it around your kiddos, the length which is cut a little bit longer, how you can pair it perfectly with the Claire cardigan, Skye joggers and Cassidy Skirt you’ll see below and of course – the colors we are bringing it to you in [poppy and white being my two absolute favorites..but if you have to choose, choose em’ all ;)] I would recommend sizing down if in between and I wear this tee in a size XS regular.

Steph V-Neck Long Sleeve Tee – Named after Steph on the LIY team who is a lover of all things cozy.

Why wear a stuffy sweater when you can be wearing something softer than your PJ’s to dinner?! This cozy fleece V-Neck sweater will probably be most people’s most worn item. Leggings, shorts, black denim, your favorite jeans, the Skye Joggers, the world is your oyster in this little number. And stripes? SOLD. I would size down if in between on this top, I wear in XS regular.

Erin Cross Over Tunic – Named after the girl typing these words 😉 This was the first piece I fell in love with during the creation of this collection so it’s a natural fit to choose this tunic as my namesake!

I knew we needed a great tunic in the line because if there is anything I love wearing, it’s that. The cross over hemline is super flattering, the convertible sleeve makes this a piece you can wear as you choose and the color offerings on this piece are perfection. I would rock this at the office or dinner out. I find this true to size and wear it in XS, regular!

Cassidy French Terry Skirt – Named after our LIY team member, Cassidy, who rocks skirts on the regular [skorts being her favorite] and keeps our youth alive, much like this comfy little piece.

This is such a comfy piece to wear either over your swimsuit at the beach, with the Felicity tee as you run errands Saturday morning or with your favorite wedges for a weekend away. The pockets are a HUGE selling point and the colors are easy to pair with a lot of tops in your closet. It is modestly cut which can keep you from questioning if your lady parts on display. I find this skirt to be true to size and wear in XS regular [if you prefer a shorter length, I would consider ordering in petite].

Millie Muscle Tank – Named after my niece, Millie who happens to be a little spitball of fire. This muscle tank couldn’t be a better-suited style based on her tell it as it is personality.

Like many of the other pieces, this top is all sorts of crazy comfortable and has that flow factor which answers the question of “can I get those McDonald’s fries?!” [hint: the answer is YES]. Available in two colors [gosh, that purple is gorgeous] this easy breezy tank is one you’ll have a hard time ever wanting to take off. Bonus – we cut the straps wide enough so you don’t have to worry about those pesky bra straps sneaking their way out. I wear this true to size in XS regular, however, you could size down if in between because of the flow.

Hannah Ruched Dress – Named after LIY team member, Hannah, who has been rocking the ruched dress trend for years pre-babies, mid-pregnancy and post babies [and has looked hot doing so during every stage of life].

This dress is too good to the touch. It still boggles my mind how it’s THAT comfortable and yet still looks awesome on everybody. I almost dare you to order it just so you can touch it. Available in three classic dress colors – you can wear this beauty to the office, with converse out and about or with those smokin’ hot stilettos and statement necklace! I find this true to size and wear in XS, regular!

Claire Open Cardi – Named after my oldest niece, Claire, who is a layered piece herself. I love that that little girl has so many elements to her personality and this cardigan is the same.

You must feel the ribbed texture that we added to this classic cardigan. It is super lightweight which will make this your go-to cardigan for all summer long. This piece can be totally casual with some shorts and the felicity tee or worn to work with the Reagan shell underneath and a cute pair of dress pants. This may just be my favorite piece in the collection. I would size down if in between, I wear this in XS regular.

Chelsea Shirttail Sweatshirt – Named after my favorite [and only] sister, Chelsea, who is a much like the sweatshirt – a comfortable place to land but naturally polished and pretty at the same time.

This sweatshirt was originally designed as the soulmate for the Skye joggers but once I started playing around with it, I realized just how versatile it is. Do you want to wear it to dinner with a statement necklace and jeans, go for it! What about white shorts or jeans while on a boat? Yup. With the beloved joggers – duh. I love the additional steam detail down the back and on the sides. I find this true to size and wear in XS regular.

Skye Cozy Joggers – Named after our Houston model, Skye, who loves to rock a great pair of joggers alllllll night long. These were her favorite piece when she saw everything for the first time so it only made sense to deem these her piece!

If I were you, I would stop reading what I’m even writing and just go order these NOW. You will literally never want to take them off. You can rock these at home with slippers, while traveling with our Felicity Tee + Claire Cardi + Converse or on a date night out with pumps, the Felicity tee, a cute little jacket and statement earrings. I am obsessed with these. Size up if in between, I wear these in XS regular.

Reagan V-Neck Drop Back Shell – Named after my sweet niece, Reagan, who is polished and adorable at all times, this tank will keep you that way, whatever the occasion.

This tank is cut in such a beautiful and classy V-Neck and is equal parts fun with white shorts while on vacation yet boardroom ready with a blazer and skirt. The colors are vibrant yet classy. This tank does have a pleat detail on the back which steps it up a notch, features a high/low hemline and the way it pairs with our Claire Cardigan is perfection. Truly, if you purchase this tank I would make sure to get a cardigan to go with it, you won’t regret the duo, believe me. I find this tank to run true to size and wear in XS.
