why no, this picture has nothing to do with today’s post, but it is a picture that accurately displays my love for life when I have a bag of chicken nuggets positioned next to my face.

I should preface this by saying this post is screwed because I’m trying to write this while watching last night’s Bachelor in Paradise which is virtually impossible. How can I focus here when I have Deanie Baby, people making out, girls crying and ALL OF THE OTHER AMAZING THINGS on the screen in front of me? Exactly. Good luck blog, you’re not in a winning position right now. With that being said let’s jump into these currently I’m shenanigans….

Currently I’m watching…[and crying] at all of the wedding recaps that have come from all of this bachelor nation stuff. I realize I am a fool right now but gosh it gets me. Can we all just relive the Trista and Ryan days? And then travel to Vail together to creep on their cute family. I swear I’m normal.

Currently I’m eating..Kit Kats. All of the freaking Kit Kats. I can’t stop. Do you ever make the mistake of casually filling up candy dishes in your home with chocolate while saying to yourself “this is totally just for the guests. I won’t eat any of it” and then you find yourself planning your days around trips to the different dishes. “Oh! I should wash the guest bedding laundry because there is that one bowl sitting on that tray in there that has Peanut Butter Cups and Kit Kats! I love washing the guest bedroom bedding!”

Currently I’m crushing on…my dogs. I think I really love them now. I should clarify, I’ve always loved them [kinda] but they weren’t Maggie. And they still aren’t, but they are growing on me [well, they were and then I found Ollie chewing up the ceramic paw print we had of Maggie after she passed away but I’m learning forgiveness]. I sat them down recently and informed them that their mom now accepts their crazy selves and they licked my armpits in response so I think it went over well. Also,  it’s amazing what a little snip of the balls and an electric underground fence does for a parent’s love. EVERY PARENT READING, DO THOSE TWO THINGS AND YOUR KIDS WILL BE AWESOME.

Currently I’m sweating…because mirror selfies are exhausting. And hot, mostly hot. Especially when it’s 85 degrees outside and you’re wearing sweatshirts with shirts underneath and tight moto leggings with shoes. Ugh, the shoes. Most people’s response to this would be “then stop taking pictures in warm clothes while it’s hot out stupid” and my response to them would be “stop being so smart”. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Currently I’m excited about…the CMA Fest show that’s on TV tonight. Basically, I live my life by what’s on TV these days. Really I am just excited because I want to adopt Kelsea Ballerini and I wish Thomas Rhett was my dad. I realize this is a weird dynamic, but if we could just make all of the above happen I would be really happy. Thank you.

Currently I’m proud of myself for…shaving. It took a few weeks to get there but I did.

Currently I’m preparing tonight’s dinner which is…Pizza Hut or Olive Garden. I should have clarified what I meant by “preparing”. That’s another word for “googling menus to see what sounds best”.

Currently I’m sore because of…barre. Silly barre. I don’t know who convinced me that going to a weekly class was a good idea, but every Monday I question my existence. Was there a point during the last class that I considered walking out and sitting in the hallway for the remaining 40 minutes. I AM NOT A STRONG PERSON, STOP RUBBING IT IN MY FACE BARRE CLASS.

Currently I’m scheduling…a hair appointment. It’s time to dye this mane back to blonde. Sorry brunette, you aren’t doing it for me.

Currently I’m buying…all of the tunics for fall. Why? Because leggings > everything else. I’m starting with this one and this one. The colors, oh the colors!
