Calling all educators!!! LIY Ambassador, Aundrea here, to jump start our 2022-2023 school year thinking “Fashion Forward”. If you are anything like me, just the mention of those words feel like more money is flying out of my purse before the school year even starts! Well, I (we) are here to help put your heart, mind, and even your wallet at ease. Allow us to help you step into the first day of school in style; without spending a hundred billion dollars. Before we jump into all things Teacher Wardrobe, let me formally introduce myself and share a little bit about my journey in education.
I have been teaching for five years in elementary between kindergarten and second grade. I’ve evolved so much, learning from my peers and our students and have become a better teacher, friend, advocate, supporter, and woman. I have grown from so many of my colleagues; both in my building and district wide. One thing I have loved throughout the years is collaborating with my grade level teaching team. They have truly impacted and influenced me to continue to soar in the field of education and have become some of my closest friends. This year, I have made a HUGE leap of faith and decided to transition out of the traditional classroom. In this chapter, I will be working with a local organization that serves students within our inner city schools. In my role I will have the honor to support, advocate, and partner with our students’ families to decrease educational gaps. While I am thrilled and excited about the venture, leaving the familiar has been challenging for me. But one thing I know that will always be “familiar” in any setting is ….FASHION!
For me, education and fashion are my passion! And what better way to show how much I love it than to begin the school year with amazing, versatile pieces! This year is all about bold colors, funky solids, and timeless pieces. I hope that you love these teacher wardrobe essentials as much as I do, especially the floral top and teal paisley dress! 🙂
May this school year be successful, and your fashion be bright!
