I feel like Amazon is a bit like Disney World for a lot of people. It’s your happy place, but at the same time completely overwhelming. You love it once you’re there and looking back on it, but getting to that happy place takes a bit of work. That’s where Team LIY comes into play. We spend time sorting through the “will it arrive in 2 days or 2 months” and the “it says size large, but that’s got to be toddler sizing” so that you don’t have to! And we’re now bringing you our latest edition of what the team is loving, covering everything from beauty to fashion to home to our furry friends! In case you missed March, April or May, it’s not too late to get them a look!
Erin’s Dress
I am a huge fan of maxi dresses, whether it’s for travel, dinners out or days exploring – you can’t go wrong with a comfy dress, especially at this price [under $30]! I’m not typically a fan of tie-dye but I spotted this guy and wanted to try it to see how I liked it on. It turns out I liked it so much I took it to NYC with me. I love the slit on both sides that exposes enough leg but not too much and the fact that it has pockets! Highly recommend! Wearing size XS in grey!

Becca’s Phone Case
There are thousands of phone case options out there, but here are four things I love about this particular one. 1. It wraps around the front for good protection which is great because I drop my phone a lot! 2. It has a slim profile! My previous phone case was so much bulkier, so it’s nice to have something smaller in my pocket or purse. 3. It’s opaque! So many women’s phone cases these days have see thru aspects to them, which is super cute but doesn’t allow you to use the awesome magnetic car mount without seeing the metal insert. 4. It’s pretty! It looks like an opal or Mother or Pearl and I get so many compliments on it!
Lauren’s Candle
I first saw these candles at a boutique when my husband and I were living in Texas and thought they were so unique! Each of the 50 candles has a unique smell, associated with the state it’s representing to evoke the nostalgic memories of home! In my case, this Michigan candle smells like tart cherries and rich chocolate [I’m originally from Indiana, but chose my current home state, because cherries and chocolate > kettle corn and hay. Sorry, Indiana]. I have mine burning as I type this, and let me tell ya- it smells both good and strong. These candles would be a perfect gift for someone who has moved away, a college student that’s leaving the state, or maybe just for yourself 😉 Remember, with Amazon Prime, you can ship to a different address than your own! Also available in a major city versions!
Hannah’s Jacket
The most perfect cropped jacket! I have searched high and low for a cute, flattering and comfortable jacket that I can wear with anything in my closet and this one is perfect! At 5’2″ a cropped jacket is a must have, but finding the right one is difficult! This one is the perfect length and cut AND can even be worn with shorts, for cooler Summer nights! I paired it with so many items in my closet and it dressed it up enough for work or date night but also easy to throw on and go for running errands! It also comes in the prettiest neutral color and a closet must! True to size, wearing in Small, but should have stuck with my normal XS!
Claire’s Robotic Vacuum
I’ve been on the hunt for a “save” iRobot vacuum comparable to the Roomba Erin swears by. The Pure Clean vacuum seemed too good to be true running just under $90 so I put it to the test. Before we dive in, it’s important to note that I live in a small one bedroom apartment with vinyl flooring throughout.
- The Bad: It doesn’t come with a docking station. This means after the vacuum runs out of battery [about an hour] you’ll have to pick it up and plug it back into its charger. I also noticed that the vacuum struggled to navigate some of my thicker rugs. I always run it while I’m home so I can “rescue” it if it gets stuck.
- The Good: I was SO impressed with how much dirt and hair it picked up in so little time. I’m a doodle mom, so I’d like to think I don’t have much dog hair around the house. Boy, was I wrong. Within an hour run time, it picked up a disturbing amount of dirt and hair. There’s also something to be said about the price. If you’re on a budget like me or looking for a gift for a recent graduate/college student, this might be a great option.
- All in all, the vacuum worked well for me and my current living situation. If you have larger home with lots of carpeting or rugs, this one might not be the best choice for you! In the end, I’d say you get what you pay for and Erin swears her Roomba is worth every penny!
Cassidy’s Pour Over Kettle
For your dad, grad or inner barista! This is the perfect pour over kettle for your home brewed coffee [for under $40!]! It has a temperature gage on top to accurately boil your water! It shows you what the preferred temp is for making coffee too, easy peasy! Pair it with a pour over and coffee grounds for the perfect gift!
Erin’s Toiletry Bag
With all of the travel I’ve been doing recently, I’ve been on the hunt for a reliable toiletry bag that I could easily pack and go. The hardest part in finding one? Finding one that will fit all of my necessities [it takes a LOT to get this girl ready apparently] that doesn’t take up too much space in my luggage. I spotted this one on Amazon and it had rave reviews so I had to try it! For under $20, it’s awesome quality and holds everything I need! I love that it has a hook to hang and the pattern options it comes in are adorable! You can’t go wrong with this cutie!
Steph’s Erasable Pens and Markers
Becca’s Hyaluronic Acid
I have heard rave reviews about the affects of Hyaluronic acid for both dry skin and it’s anti-aging properties. This serum has 2% Hyaluronic acid (compared to similar ones which might just have 1%). I have been impressed with what Hyaluronic acid has done for my dry flaky skin in the past, and excited to see if long term use will help with some anti-aging as well! Only tried it a few times but looking forward to seeing the great results that I have read in the reviews of this product!
Lauren’s Scrunchies
As any girl with long hair knows, as soon as summer hits, up goes the hair. But using the same old hair ties can get boring after awhile. I’ve been holding off on the scrunchie trend for quite some time now, and finally gave in. I got flashbacks to going to the local flea market with my mom in the summer and stocking up on scrunchies for something like 10 for $1. And this deal on scrunchies is almost as good. 25 [yes, 25 scrunchies] are included in this pack! I love that they a] have a fun little bunny ear piece to them, b] are a velvety material, and c] come with so many colors you’re sure to find something to with that day’s look!
And that’s a wrap! Stay tuned for next month’s roundup of what the team is loving on Amazon, and drop a comment of what YOU are loving lately!
