Howdy all you ALDI shoppers 🤠👋 or maybe those of you who have never been to ALDI but are ready to give it a shot! Personally, putting together this post reignited my long lost love of all the amazing things the world of ALDI has to offer. From their version of Girl Scout cookies (yes please), to $3 wine 🦉, to the “aisle of shame” 😂 (aka aisle of random finds you didn’t know you wanted) – we are sharing must try items that we + the LIY Community say you NEED to try. SO MANY of you told us it’s THEEE place for a DIY charcuterie board (more fun board inspos this way) and we’ve put together a little inspo for that below as well, so keep on reading!

If you haven’t been to an ALDI before there are a couple “need to knows” before venturing out to grab your dark chocolate dessert hummus (yes, that’s a thing). The ALDI prices are amazing and there’s a few things they do to cut costs in other areas to keep grocery costs down! With that said:

1. Being a quarter! You are going to need a quarter to get your cart! Simply insert it and it will pull away from the other connected carts. Don’t worry, when you return it you will get that trusty quarter back. If you happen to forget to bring one (been there) you can ask a cashier for one or if you get lucky the cart you choose will already have one in it! 
2. Bring your own bags or boxes! They do not bag groceries at ALDI – HOWEVER if you forget your own sometimes there are extra boxes around from unboxings or you can purchase brown paper bags for 7 cents or reusable bags for $1.99 at checkout!
