It’s no secret – changing your lashes can change your face’s whole look! So many of us are trying anything and everything for longer, fuller lashes, including serums, gummies, mascaras, false lashes [magnetic and professional] and more!

Lash serums have become super popular over the last few years, with promises of longer, fuller lashes in as little as 4-6 weeks of daily use! Simply apply a bit of serum near the lashes morning or night [read your product’s instructions!], and in a few short weeks you’ll [hopefully] be noticing a difference! Don’t forget to take your before and afters!

At LIY, we like to do the really, intensive investigative research on different products…ya know, deep stuff, like pillow comfort, best razors, and the ultimate tee. You can find all of the product comparisons here! Since there are so many lash serums on the market, a few of us on the LIY Team put the most popular options to the test. We tested for nearly 3 full months, and these are our results…

Erin: Grande Cosmetics Grande Lash MD

Erin’s Thoughts: Worth it!

Cost: $68 / 3 Month Supply

Grande Cosmetics Grande Lash MD

After using the Grande Cosmetics lash serum for a couple of months, I couldn’t recommend it more! I have been amazed at not only the growth my eyelashes have seen, but also the strength of them as well! I have definitely noticed longer lashes after using nightly and every morning as I apply my mascara it seems like my mascara goes on easier and doesn’t require as much, which is a nice plus! Fortunately, I didn’t have any eye irritation when using this product and couldn’t ever feel anything after I applied it along my lash line! I will continue to use this product for long, healthy looking lashes and would encourage you to try it as well! While I know it is a little more expensive, I am still using the same tube months later, so the product does last for a while! Cheers to longer lashes without the hassle of extensions!

Hannah: Lancome Cils Booster Lash Revitalizing Serum

Hannah’s Thoughts: Worth It!

Cost: $49 / 3 Month Supply

Lancome Cils Booster Lash Revitalizing Serum

I would recommend the Lancome Clis Booster lash serum to someone that had just removed their eyelash extensions! It was gentle but seemed to work! After using it for 3 months I noticed my lashes were thicker, fuller, slightly longer and much healthier from the very beginning of the process! I noticed the biggest difference after applying mascara in the overall appearance of my lashes! If I applied too much it would dry and get flakey which would make my eyes itchy. Small amounts didn’t cause any issues! It also dried very quickly after application which made it easier to apply makeup in the morning! I did notice, that towards the end of the bottle the serum started to become sticky and would clump when applied to my lashes [almost 3 months of using]. I will note; if you also applied too much of the serum and then applied mascara the lashes would be stuck together and made it difficult to put mascara on.

Claire: Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner

Claire’s Thoughts: Not Worth It

Cost: $98 / 3 Month Supply

Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner

Without mascara, my growth wasn’t super noticeable from using the Revitalash Serum. But there was a noticeable difference when I applied mascara [mostly longer, not much “fuller”]. I could definitely tell if I wasn’t keeping up with serum consistently vs. how much better they looked when I stuck to using the serum regularly! This product was absolutely on the spendier side of brands we tested. I would say if any of the girls achieved similar results with a more affordable brand, go for the cheaper options! Results were just “meh” for the price.

Lisa: Lashfood Phyto-Medic Eyelash Enhancer

Lisa’s Thoughts: Worth It!

Cost: $78 / 3 Month Supply

Lashfood Phyto-Medic Eyelash Enhancer

The Lashfood lash serum really improves the length of your lashes. Coming off of lash extensions this was great to add to my nightly routine to improve length. I only wish this serum would have added a little more volume.  I love the fact that you only had to apply it once a day and added that to my nightly routine. Adding mascara to my lashes really dramatized the length too which I love! Within the first three weeks I noticed that my lashes were already seeming fuller and longer! However, by the end of the three months, I wasn’t noticing drastic continued growth as I was in the beginning! Not that it was going away, it just wasn’t continuing to lengthen and fill out!

Debbie: Pronexa Hairgenics Lavish Lash

Debbie’s Thoughts: Not Worth It

Cost: $25 / 3 Month Supply

Pronexa Hairgenics Lavish Lash

After a few weeks of using the Pronexa Lavish lash serum, I was noticing that my lashes were a little longer and darker. It also said that it can be applied to eyebrows so I tried it there too and could see a slight difference in the front part of my brows! However, by the end of the three months of use I only noticed a slight difference in my lashes and brows overall.  It’s not a bad price but I would probably want to pay a little more and try something that would make more of a dramatic difference!
