Is my home already decorated for the holidays? You better believe it. Is it way too soon? To each their own. š ‘Tis almost the most wonderful time of year and nothing gets me in the spirit of the season quite like a house full of holiday cheer. Well, that and cozy jammies. It’s no secret 2020 has been A YEAR to say the very least, but I’m choosing to find the joy in the little things this holiday season. And in this case, that joy is coming in the form of holiday traditions. My cup of cocoa is half full, friends. I’ve always loved the idea of matching PJs for the family, but have never actually participated in said tradition. Nonetheless, there’s no time like the present to kick off a new tradition in the coziest way we know how. Whether you’re new to the matching family pajama concept [join the club] or this is an old tradition for you, allow us to introduce ourselves, our families, and our holiday PJs!

PJs for the family [pups included]
Iām a sucker for a tradition, especially traditions that live during the holidays. Iāve always loved the idea of family PJs but never considered that we could jump in on that trend without kiddos [at least without kiddos that arenāt covered in fur]. Gone are those days because this family is officially on board the matching holiday PJ train. These flannel plaid PJs are incredibly soft, warm and excellent quality, even Max and Ollie fell in love after one try! I canāt wait to snuggle up in these as a family on Christmas Eve as we open our stockings and watch Christmas Vacation. Hereās to a new tradition that will last for years!

Red Buffalo Check Family Pajamas
Thereās something so fun cozying up as a family with our matching pajamas with hot cocoa and all the Christmas snacks!! Every year, a week before Christmas, our kiddos will get a little something from their Elf on the Shelf! A new pair of matching pajamas, a Christmas movie, Christmas mugs, individual hot cocoa mixes and some other little treats! Itās one of their favorite gifts their Elf brings and itās been so much fun! Two years ago we also started a fun tradition of going to a nice dinner as a family and driving around looking at all of the Christmas lights/decorations! This time of year is always my favorite; the songs, lights, wonder and joy it brings!! What are some of your holiday traditions?!

PJs for Her // PJs for Him // PJs for Kids // PJs for Baby
Iām working on getting our kids to wear matching [or at least coordinating] clothes for as many years as I can, so you better believe theyāll be in matching Christmas jammies! And getting dad to play along too? Double points! Nothing like getting in the holiday spirit a bit early this year – I mean itās 2020 – anything goes. Our house is feeling extra magical this year going into the Christmas season, because a] we have a second little one now, and b] *someone* canāt stop talking about Santa for the first time. Something tells me both Briggs and Hayes might be on the nice list this year!

Patterned Flannel Pajama Set for Women [true to size, wearing xs, Black Buffalo Plaid] // Plaid Flannel Pajama Set for Men [true to size, wearing small, Black Buffalo Plaid]
I donāt know how often my husband will want to match me, but when he does we are ready to pop some popcorn and watch āThe Grinchā. I like these PJās because they are good for cooler nights, but they arenāt a thick flannel;Ā so I wonāt be sweating my way through the night. We chose the black and white buffalo plaid so that itās generic to wear year around! Plus, the price is right š
The Dekker Family
The past few years Iāve purchased our matching PJs in store, but boy is it frustrating to try to dig through the piles to find a design that has sizes in stock for 5 people! This year we switched to online, and Iām not disappointed about saving those 38 minutes elbow deep in the Target holiday section! This year we opted for these sweet little hats because I loved them, found a coordinating hat and scarf for our dog, and it was one of the designs that I could easily tell had stock for our whole family. Traditionally we open our new jams on Christmas Eve and watch a Christmas movie while snacking on our favorite appetizers and playing games. Each family member gets to pick the snack of their choice for us all to enjoy and itās one of the most yummy (and cozy) nights of the year!

Our holidays usually look like driving across the state from one family holiday to the next. Since we donāt often wake up in our own home on Christmas morning, our immediate family traditions are more of tiny moments to ourselves. We begin December 25th before the rest of the household wakes up drinking our morning cup of coffee from our matching snowman mugs that we bring along with us every year. Of course, this early morning tradition happens while weāre still in our jammies! This year takes it to a whole new level with the whole fam in a classic holiday matching flannel pjs, available in sizes for absolutely everyone in the family. These cozy quiet moments remind our family to be grateful for what truly matters — each other.
