How to Create a Cookie + Ice Cream Sandwich Board

July 30, 2020

Nothing says celebration quite like a cookie + ice cream sandwich board! For the next birthday on your calendar [or honestly just any day you just need a little pick me up], try putting together this fun board!  Take a quick peak below for how we created it — it’s as easy as picking up a couple items from the grocery store and a few minutes of prep, but you’ll impress your friends and family and make someone feel extra special!

All you need is two simple ingredients — cookies and ice cream. We picked both up at a local establishment and were ready to build the board! Start by lining a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Using a melon baller, scoop out small scoops of ice cream and place them on the sheet. Once you have filled the sheet, place in the freezer for an hour or more. Next, it’s time to build your board. Place an empty bowl in the center of a board or tray. Build around it with your cookies. Immediately before you are ready to serve, drop all the little scoops of ice cream in the bowl with a spoon and you are ready to go!

Each person can build their own little ice cream sandwich! It’s super fun and extremely delicious! Enjoy!
