Disclosure: Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post. All products were selected, purchased and loved by yours truly!
It’s been fun to partner with Walmart for the past several months and see everything that they have to offer through their We Dress America campaign! There are a few brands that have especially stood out to our team as being great for both fashion and price point – Time and Tru, Sofia Jeans by Sofia Vergara, and EV1 by Ellen Degeneres! Fashion doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg [Personally, I’ve only got two of each of those, so I’d prefer to hold onto them as long as I can]. I’m always able to find a ton of items that I really like for great prices. If they’re super trendy and I’m only going to wear them for a season or two, that’s okay! Because they didn’t break the bank! Plus, SO many items have free two-day shipping, so you don’t have to wait to try on your new goodies!
You all seriously LOVED our first round of Walmart Wins so much that we figured we’d go for round two! Our wardrobes are slowly transitioning to fall, which means we’re stocking up on jackets, sweaters and booties! Take a look at what we found in the digital Walmart aisles, and see for yourself how many hidden gems there really are!
Erin’s Head to Toe Outfit
Can one ever have too many moto jackets for fall and winter? The answer to this is no my friends. Here’s the good news — this one is under $40 and can rival any other faux leather jacket I have in my closet. I am a huge fan of this cut and fit. I paired it with this leopard lace trim cami and couldn’t love the combo more! This jacket will be in regular rotation! [True to size, wearing in small]
While I can’t wait for fall to arrive, let’s be real – summer is still in full swing over here in Indiana. With that being said, sleeveless tops [that are regular bra friendly] are still at the top of my reach in my wardrobe. This lace tank top is incredibly comfortable and has the perfect amount of flow to feel confident in all day long! [Size down if in between, wearing in small]
Let’s start with the price of these — $24. You read that right. Under $25 for a great pair of perfectly distressed skinny jeans. If you are looking for jeans that don’t suffocate your ankles, these may be the pair for you. They are just a little loose on the ankle for me to wear as-is with booties, but with a little cuff I think they are great! I find them to be comfortable as well which is a win! [true to size]
When I spotted these designer inspired booties at Walmart, I knew I had to try them. I am in love with the shape of the toe [not too pointed, not too rounded] and the fabric detail on the sides. These truly look like they should be $100+. The heel is only 2 inches making them quite easy to walk in! If you are looking to spend under $50 for a pair of booties that you’ll get a ton of use out of this fall, I highly recommend these!
Becca’s Crossback Sweater Outfit
This cute little sweater is so fun for fall! It has a mock turtleneck, which I am all about! Plus it has a sweet surprise in the back! I tried to take a pic to show you all but taking a backwards mirror selfie turned out to be way too hard for an amateur like me! I’ll leave that move to the pros like Erin, and you all will just have to check out the link to see! It is a little on the sheer side in the ivory, but it didn’t bother me too much when I paired it with a bralette. It could also work just fine with a little cami underneath. [True to size, wearing size XS]
I like the fit of these skinnies! They have a good mid-rise, and a fun raw hem detail! They look cute rolled like in the pic above or unrolled too! And you definitely can’t beat the price! [True to size, wearing size 2]
These booties are super cute and fun for an evening out! I like the taupe color – it would coordinate with just about anything in my closet. And the peep toe is a ton of fun to show off your fall pedi! [true to size!]
Claire’s Booties
If you’ve been following along with the LIY Team Finds for a while now, you may have noticed a pattern with my recent shoe choices. I truly can’t stop snagging up alllllll the peep toe booties. This style is my absolute favorite for transitioning into the fall season and the bow detail was too cute to pass up! Warning: I didn’t get a chance to wear these for a long period of time, but I think they would work best for a night out or an event. If you’re on your feet for a long period of time, you may need to “break ‘em in” ahead of time. True to size!
Hannah’s Bomber Jacket Outfit
This bomber jacket was a huge surprise in my most recent Walmart finds! The color combo was neutral enough, quality was great, and the fit was perfect! It does make a little bit of a sound when moving your arms since the jacket is Nylon, however my husband made a good point that it is wind and water resistant so perfect for a rainy day! This one is a definite must try! [true to size, wearing in XS]
Layering camis are a closet must and these are not only budget friendly, but they come in a package of 2! They are slightly thinner but make a great base layer! [Size up if in between, wearing in XS]
I tried a pair of jeans by Sofia Vergara in our last roundup and really liked them, so I decided to try a different style! These boyfriend jeans have great stretch, and a slightly slimmer boyfriend style of denim which I really like! [True to size, wearing in size 2]
Where have these sneakers been all my life?! They have memory foam, perfect neutral color and SO comfortable!! Apparently, I needed to try these sooner!! [true to size]
Lauren’s Wireless Charging Laptop Backpack
I’ve been intrigued by this brand [Motile] at Walmart for a while, as it’s all based around wireless charging accessories. I needed a new laptop bag, so decided to give theirs a try! I’ll be honest- I have mixed feelings. I LOVE love love the bag itself as a laptop bag. There are a TON of compartments [seriously, so many] and the vegan leather material is really nice. Where my feelings get mixed are around the wireless charging portion. It comes with a wireless charging bank that you insert into an interior pocket, which should align with an outside pocket that you’re to put your phone in for charging on the go. However, my phone case isn’t very thick, and it wouldn’t charge with the case on. And of course, this will only work if your phone is one of the few that is wireless charging capable. BUT the charging bank does come with a cord so you can run that cord through the side hole and just plug it in like a normal wireless charger if you don’t want to take your case off or your phone isn’t capable of wireless charging. So, it definitely can still work for most any situation, it just wasn’t quite as seamless as I was hoping.
All that to say, I LOVE the backpack itself and would highly recommend it for a laptop bag, I just wouldn’t necessarily buy it solely for the wireless charging component.
Erin’s Open Toe Booties
This Melrose Ave brand is nailing it in the shoe department! I fell in love with the look of these on the website and fortunately they looked even better in person! These are a 3-inch heel which are my max comfort level for a heel when it comes to booties. While I haven’t worn them a ton, at first wear they did seem reasonably comfortable, so I am anxious to break them in more and see if I think the same. [true to size]
Hannah’s New Heels
There is something about a basic outfit dressed up with a fun pair of heels to make it look like you are just a little more put together! I dressed up these boyfriend jeans and basic tank with a fun pair of heels and I am loving the result! These heels are surprisingly comfortable and I LOVE the tortoise print! They are more on the subtle side but enough of a statement to add a little pop to this basic outfit!
We hope you loved our finds as much as we did!
