If there is one thing that has remained consistent in Indiana the past week [or month] it’s rain. Non-stop, every day rain. We’re talking the frizzy hair, sweatpants and sweatshirts, doing nothing on the couch type of rain. I can appreciate a good rainy day, what I can’t appreciate is a good 34 days of rain. While I’ve tried to not let it put a damper on my outfit selection [that was totally a rainy day pun] it has. While you see a lot of outfits below that will indicate differently, it’s the last outfit in this lineup that was worn the most often. Regardless of your forecast situation, there should be an outfit in here that can work for whatever the weather.
Before we get into all of the outfits, let’s get the logistics out of the way to make this process easier on you – for sizing reference, I am 5’4, 125 lbs on a good day, typically a 2 in tops/dresses and 26 in jeans/pants with a preferred inseam of 26-28 inches. Bra size is 30DDD [I get it from my momma]. Hopefully, this helps when determining what size you’d need. Also, feel free to follow along here for daily outfits [literally every outfit housed in ONE spot] and check out this Pinterest board where you can also get some ideas! Which reminds me, you can pin any of these looks below to save for future reference! Simply click on the links below and you will be taken directly to the retailer where you can shop! Alright, fellow “I like to get dressed” friends, let’s begin!
Founder and creator of LIY, Erin turned her dream of a hobby blog into a full-time career which she now runs alongside the LIY team! When not in front of her computer screen [with a La Croix or wine in hand] or in front of a mirror taking mirror selfies, you can find Erin spending time on the water, cuddled up with her two pups and husband most likely watching the latest Shark Tank episode, or getting lost in an easy beach read.
As much as I love shorts season [aka summer] I sometimes despise the actual “denim shorts season” itself. Shorts can be tricky. Sometimes they are too tight, too short, too loose and the list of all of the discomforts of shorts goes on. Today, we’re here to put some of those discomforts to rest and […]
If there’s one trend I’m happily hopping on board with, it’s the white sneaker rage. Maybe they never went out of style, maybe it’s more socially acceptable than ever to wear tennies with every. single. outfit. Either way, I’m here for it.
If there is one thing I have learned over the past year of life it is that 30 minutes on a bike can change your life in the best way possible. After years of hearing how great a workout on a stationary bike can be, Shawn & I finally decided to put the pedal to […]
The LIY Virtual Book Club was born in 2020 as a way to connect with you, our LIY Community, and to encourage each other to hit the books– virtually. Our first official meeting was a success [as in, we laughed and sipped wine which is considered a success in my book 😉 ] and we’ve […]
