I don’t know who likes spring more — humans or dogs. Walks, treats, boat rides and countless hours hanging out on the driveway watching passerbyers walk by. All things we both can get into 😉 As the weather is starting to turn for the better [finally!] Shawn and I are getting outside with Max and Ollie more and more. After a long [long] winter cooped up inside, we recently ventured out into the great outdoors and it was a welcomed occasion for us all.
To prepare for the season ahead, we turned to Chewy to stock up on some spring and summer must-haves for the pups. If you’re unfamiliar with Chewy let me tell you more as this is a must one stop shop for all pet owners. Not only do they have over 1,000 brands that you know, trust and love for your animals – they offer 100% satisfaction guarantee on any item, on every order. Their customer service is unlike anything in this business – they are available 24/7 to customers, even on holidays and weekends. Whether it’s a handwritten card, a pet portrait, or an unforgettable experience, they want their customers to feel that they go above and beyond for them with every interaction. If you’ve never shopped with Chewy they offer free shipping on orders over $49 and their Autoship option allows you to set-up regular reorders of your animals favorite food, treats, or even toys! Their prices are competitive and I love that it all shows up right at my door, no trip to the pet store required!
If you’re a fellow dog owner and lover, I thought I’d share our recent spring and summer purchases for the dogs that let them do what they do best – frolic and play outside without a worry in the world! First things first, the outdoor necessities. These Outward Hound Port-A-Bowl Pet Bowls are so nice for water bowls when on the go. They fold up, are super lightweight and can pop-up whenever you’re ready to fill!
When browsing their website I also spotted this The Green Pet Shop Self-Cooling Pet Pad and knew Max & Ollie would love it this summer on the boat. It’s a self cooling gel pad which makes for a comfortable place to lay in the heat of the day! Now if I could find a human size one.
Of course, you can’t forget about the toys that make the tails wag. Both this Chuckit! Flying Squirrel, Color Varies and Frisco Rope with Squeaking Barrel Dog Toy accomplished just that. Chewy.com has countless options when it comes to toys!
Of course, you can’t talk about days outside without treats. Max & Ollie are huge fans of the Zuke’s Power Bone Beef & Blueberry Recipe Protein Bar Dog Treats which make me feel like I’m doing my job as their momma getting their fruit and proteins in 😉 You know they are excited about whats about to go in their mouths when their ears are flipped…
Max tested, Max approved.
Now before you let those little rascals back inside your house, you gotta clean their paws off [there is nothing worse than dirty paw prints all over the freshly cleaned house or your white bedspread….speaking from experience] and these Burt’s Bees Multipurpose Wipes with Honey For Dogs are an easy option to keep those pups paws under control.
Now that you’re loaded up with supplies, it’s time to get outside and enjoy the season ahead!
For your Pinning pleasure…
