There are typically two things Shawn cares about when adding new pieces to his wardrobe – price and wearability. A smart man I must say. If something is out of his budget or if he can only find a single need for an item, he most likely isn’t going to buy it. However, when an item is good quality, doesn’t cost a fortune and can be worn for several occasions, it’s a much easier sell. Over the past two years we’ve started shopping at Nordstrom for the majority of his clothing needs. The free shipping and free returns entice him just as much as they do me, plus their brands that he has grown to love [1901, J.Crew, GH Bass, Nordstrom brand, etc] keep him lookin’ fresh and relevant 24/7. You may remember this post from a couple of weeks ago and because it was so well received from you ladies, I thought I’d bring you an additional look that is easy for any guy to pull off at the workplace or at the bar.
Let’s start with the business casual look –
A classic button up is always a great option for any guy. By simply tucking it in to either work pants or a nice pair of denim and adding a belt, you have a polished and sophisticated outfit for that 8-5 life. I love that this particular shirt has hints of fun splashed across it thanks to the colorful stripes. Business doesn’t have to be so serious after all.
Time to bring it down a notch. Getting drinks with the guys after work is as easy as 1-2-change of shoes! Simply untuck the shirt, throw on some comfortable yet still stylish shoes and your man is ready to roll. The only thing he has to worry about now is if he wants his beer in a bottle or draught.
Whether you’re shopping just because or are getting an early start on your Christmas list, don’t forget to hit up Nordstrom for all of your mans [okay and yours] needs. Shop some of Shawn’s favorites below —
