First, a faux-leather jacket can be worn for a casual look. By throwing on the jacket over a graphic tee instead of a zip-up hoodie or sweatshirt, it immediately dresses up the look a bit. A little less scrubby, a little more “I thought about my outfit for at least 2 minutes.” And the tee can be anything! While I chose rosé, you may find that your local high school is a more appropriate selection ;). I paired this with jeans and slip-on shoes, but you could just as easily rock the leather jacket and tee with a cute pair of joggers [may I suggest these to you?] and a pair of athletic shoes for the ultimate “pulled-together but still comfy” look.

Next, as we make it halfway through the work week and start to feel a little bored with our closet, a leather jacket can pull you out of that mid-week funk right when you need it! We may not think of a leather jacket as office appropriate, but for many office environments, as long as it’s worn over a full office look, I’d say it fits the bill! I chose a pencil skirt, tucked-in tank, tights and heels. It’s so much more fun to throw on a little bit of leather instead of a blazer or cardigan! Finally, the day we all dream of- we walk in the door after work and our dear husband says “babe, I got us dinner reservations at that new hotspot restaurant you’ve been wanting to go to.” I’m also assuming that this would include “and I got a babysitter” for many of you. For me, it’s more like “I also fed the dogs.” SWOON. This green dress is one of my FAVORITES and it’s perfect for a date night- it’s so flattering!. But sometimes I want to add another layer- whether it’s for warmth or just to add a little edge to my LGD [little green dress].
