With wedding season in full swing [there’s just somethin’ about this time of the year that makes people want to get hitched] there’s one thing on us wedding attendees minds – gifts. It’s not always easy to know what to get the happy couple these days, however, I think I have come up with just the ticket for my go-to wedding gifts. It may have taken me a few years [okay thirty-one to be exact], but I finally get the KitchenAid hype now and I think it’s time we introduce newlyweds immediately to their greatness.
Thanks to the Macy’s big ole Friends and Family Sale happening right now [take 30% off all home + 10% off all electronics with code FRIEND] I was able to get my hands on some of the most beautiful KitchenAid appliances at a great deal for both myself and a lucky bride to be. When I saw these matte pistachio KitchenAid appliances ON SALE at Macy’s I knew they were destined to be mine. Because the mixer alone wouldn’t have been enough, I picked up the KitchenAid 5 Speed Blender and 7 Speed Hand Mixer, both in the same fresh spring color as they are both currently under $100!
Because the prices are as good as they are right now, it dawned on me that these KitchenAid appliances would also make the perfect gifts for upcoming wedding or bridal showers. It’s like the gifting Gods are looking down on us at prime wedding season time and making it way too easy on us to please the bride and groom. Whatever your budget, you can find a piece or two that will fit your gift giving needs. If you’ve been stumped on what to gift this wedding season, I can assure you that this will end up being one of the happy couple’s favorite gifts. If only one of my wedding guests would have picked up on the how awesome KitchenAid appliances memo is. Brides, consider this your PSA to be sure to register at Macy’s and add these KitchenAid appliances to your registry [Macy’s truly does have everything you’ll need – proof in our master bedroom and scattered all around our home]. I should have known five years ago when my domesticated friends started purchasing these pretty colored things that sat on their counters that they were on to something. It turns out that those pretty colored things actually do some miraculous things [who knew?] that make you go from zero to superhero in the kitchen in about three minutes flat. We’re talking cookies, shredded chicken, MASHED POTATOES, soft pretzels, butter and all of the other things that your stomach can dream up. Did I mention you can make mashed potatoes in the KitchenAid Mixer yet? Me and those MP’s, we go far back.
I could literally just sit and stare at these beauties on my counter all day long. And so I do. Maybe now isn’t a good time to talk about my productivity levels since purchasing these guys. It’s okay though, I’ve got cookies and what does one really need aside from cookies? Whatever this season brings your way whether it be weddings to attend, bridal showers to host, or you could just really use a step-up in your kitchen appliance game, be sure to capitalize now on the sale before it’s all over May 7th! The only thing left on your list to buy? Some gift bags, wrapping paper, tape and a giant bow. Consider your gift giving dilemma SOLVED. dress [true to size]
Remember to take advantage of the massive Friends and Family Sale happening now through May 7th at Macy’s! Use code FRIEND to take 30% off all home items and 10% off all electronics! And if you don’t have anybody to give a gift too soon, there’s never a bad time to splurge a little on yourself 😉 Your kitchen thanks you in advance.
