![Perspective. I’ve had a long conversation about this subject with myself over the past 24 hours. It sounds silly even saying it, but last night I got so frustrated when one of my nails chipped because “I NEEDED THEM TO LOOK GOOD FOR A VIDEO SHOOT TOMORROW” and then this morning I pulled a classic makeup fail and dropped my eyeshadow and it shattered so again, I was angry, frustrated, annoyed, etc. And then I stopped myself. I don’t know if you’ve been following along of @lindsayletters.co and her precious daughter, but that family has been on my mind constantly over the past month. As I stared down at my broken eye shadow all I could think about is how it must feel for Lindsay and her husband to look down at their precious daughter and despite how broken things may feel right now, they are beautifully claiming God’s provision and promise for the future while in the midst of the excruciating present. We all have things [and this my friends, was not even a “thing”] but it’s what we do with those moments that can turn a broken palette into a beautiful masterpiece. And ps.
