
Who says healthier versions of a classic sweet staple can’t also taste deliciousssss! These protein “whoopie pie” sandwich cookies are fun, easy, and seriously yummy when you’re in the mood for a sweet treat [without all the extra sugar!].

Protein Whoopie Pies
A classic favorite sweet treat, but with less of the sweet and more of the protein please!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oat flour I just blended oats in a blender!
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- pinch salt
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1-2 tsp almond milk optional if dough is too dry
Filling
- 1/4 cup cottage cheese blended until smooth
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1-2 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix everything until it's a large dough ball and then roll into 16 balls and flatten

Bake for 6 minutes

After cooled, sandwich 1-2 tbsp of filling between two cookies
