December 2, 2022

By:

Team LIY

And just like that, it’s December! Thanksgiving came and went and Team LIY is officially in Holiday Mode. November included us filling our carts with more items that caught our eye from the trusty internet – thanks alot, Black Friday + Cyber Monday! From heated vests to hydrating shampoo – we are sharing what we hit checkout on the past month! Who knows, you might find yourself hitting checkout too! 😉

Fashion Finds

Erin’s Heated Vest

Heated Vest [true to size, wearing in small]

Where has this vest been all of my life? Being an Indiana native, I feel like it’s a sin I haven’t owned this up until 36 years of age. This thing is amazing if you are spending any time outside in the cooler months. It comes with a rechargeable battery pack [no batteries necessary] that plugs into an interior pocket and then with one press of a button on the vest, it heats up everywhere [even in the neck!] It’s a delightful and awesome gift to give anybody in your life! Here are more options for men and women!

Steph’s Sweatshirt and Leggings

Down to Earth Crew Sweatshirt [TTS, wearing in M] // XTra Hold-Up Leggings [TTS, wearing in L]

Do yourself a favor and check out these leggings! They are SO soft, and don’t feel like an aerobic exercise to get into them, yet somehow have great hold (just like the name promises)!

Beauty Finds

Jen’s Lipstick

Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipstick [color: unlimited mulberry]

Erin’s Shampoo & Conditioner

Pureology Hydrate Shampoo + Conditioner

My hair stylist recommended this product to me to help with my dry hair and so I immediately purchased it. Not only does it help hydrate and make my hair feel silky, smooth it also smells like I’m stepping into a spa every time I use it!

Claire’s Dry Scalp Care

Clarifying Shampoo // Scalp Scrub // Soothing Oil

This one’s for my fellow dry, flaky, scalp ladies – it happens to the best of us! 😉 Good news. We just hit publish on a blog post reviewing some of the top scalp care products [you can read the post here!]! If you struggle with product buildup [likely caused by dry shampoo, texture sprays, hair sprays, etc.] a detox shampoo and scalp scrub have been LIFE CHANGING for me. I use the detox shampoo about every other wash, or once a week, followed by a soothing oil before bedtime! My scalp has never been happier!

Claire’s “Not a Perfume” Fragrance

Juliette Has a Gun

After searching for a new perfume, I ordered the travel size version of this spray on a whim after seeing it as a top seller on Sephora’s website and O.M.G. it’s my new favorite fragrance. It’s light and not too overpowering, perfect for those of us with sensitive noses! I prefer warm, spicy scents and totally fell in love with it! If you’re a fan of Le Labo, give this one a try!

Katy’s Biossance Retinol Serum

Squalane + Retinol Night Serum

After trying and loving other Biossance products (see what I love and why here!) I was excited to try this one out as well! This serum has a duo of time-release retinol and retinal, working to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, discoloration, and texture, with minimal irritation and blends to hydrate skin & boost radiance. YES PLEASE TO ALL OF THAT.
