I’ve worn it for spinning classes, weight lifting, and walking on the treadmill and it’s given my ladies everything they need! I’ll definitely be buying more!

I have chronically chapped lips. Come winter time, that means my lips are extremely flaky and cracked. I heard Erin and other gals on the team raving about the Laneige lip mask, and I figured I might as well give it a try – and I have to say, I have been quite impressed! While I wouldn’t say like Erin that I “never have chapped lips anymore”, I think that would be aiming too high for someone like me. When I apply it, it seems to get rid of the flakiness for at least 12 hours! I have been using it religiously twice a day and that seems to take care of the chapped issue for me. Compare that to applying and reapplying chapstick a zillion times a day to only have them cracking and flaking 20 mins later. I am a huge fan of this product and I know this will be one I will refill again and again!

You know those things you buy on Amazon 2 seconds after you realize you need them because it’s so easy to hit “Buy Now,” only to have them sit in the box for a month because you don’t get around to taking care of them when they arrive so quickly? File this adjustable TV mount into that category! We’re currently in the process of putting together a small exercise area in our basement and I realized the tv would be better suited on a different wall, but needed a way to pull it away from the wall to watch while on the elliptical. This one fit all the needs for size and adjustability. Now to get it hung up – stay tuned! I’ll share how it’s working out once it’s on the wall.
Power Strip with USB Ports
It was time to upgrade our previous power strip to something with USB plugs, and that isn’t from a year that starts with 19. I don’t actually know that the other one was that old – but I do know it was clunky and we often found ourselves moving the little box plug for our iphones to charge by the office area in our home. We went with this power strip because it had plenty of room to plug in our printer, computer charging cords and everything else by the desk – but also had 3 USB ports for easy electronics charging.
File Folders
What makes tax time more enjoyable? For me the answer is cute folders to keep the documents in. I keep one of these in our desk year round marked “Taxes – to file” and throw items as they arrive directly into it so I don’t find myself scrambling at the beginning of each year. The People We Keep was a recent contender for our LIY Reads book club. It didn’t win (we’re reading We Are the Brennans and we’d love to have you participate!), but I still really wanted to give it a read. I read it over a weekend (more like a day and a half), it kept me coming back for more with a rollercoaster of almost every emotion. I found myself simultaneously heartbroken and frustrated with the main character more times than I can count. If you’re into stories that make you deeply invested in the main character’s life, this one is worth a read!

For the last 2+ years I’ve foregone the nail salon and kept up with at home manicures thanks to Kiss Impress (and Lauren’s suggestion!). They last for a minimum of a week for me, peel off easily when it’s time to change, and are SO MUCH more affordable than dip polish like I was getting previously. I most recently went with Flawless for a subtle Valentine’sish look.
Several years ago Hannah brought Kristen Ess Leave in Conditioner to a team Favorite Things party. I loved the product and used it all up, but forgot about replacing it until now when I found myself wishing I had something to make styling easier. It smells great, makes my hair touchably soft and shiny. Just make sure you put it on wet hair, otherwise you could get a greasy appearance (especially on day 2).

My husband and I have slowly been growing our home gym and we were very excited about this affordable option! We’ve had our eye on the Peloton and Echelon bikes for awhile now but didn’t quite have the budget, so when this more affordable option crossed our path, we couldn’t hit #checkout fast enough! While it doesn’t have all of the features of the more expensive brands, it’s VERY challenging and has been worth every penny we spent! The handlebar and seat are adjustable as well as the tension! The setup was super easy and I think we’ve been using it everyday since it arrived 🙂

Another addition to our home gym…. This fun ax trainer system! If you’ve ever used a real ax, it’s incredibly intense and works a ton of different muscle groups! This gives the look and feel of an ax with a variety of weights BUT a little safer without a normal sharp blade lol This system has been so fun to use! It comes with a free app and workout system, guides you through the proper way to hold and swing and challenges you through technique and workouts! After weeks of using, I haven’t been so sore after what felt like “easier” workouts! The muscle groups I’ve used and the quick workouts have made it a fun change of pace! Highly recommend trying if you are interested in incorporating new workouts into your routine!

Excuse the wrinkles, I’m still deciding which size to keep! Wrinkles aside, I’m LOVING these pull-on shorts for spring + the fun ruffle detail. For reference, I’m typically a size medium or 6/8 and ordered these in both Medium and Large. The mediums fit, but I like the extra length of the Large size [pictured here!]. Whatever you prefer, they’re available in a TON of colors and under $25!

It’s no secret we’re huge Olaplex fans around here! My hair gets extremely dry in the winter months, so I’ve been turning to Ole Faithful [ie. Olaplex] to get this mane moisturized. This mask is super easy to use and a little bit goes a long way – they recommend using only two pumps for shoulder length hair! I apply it in the shower AFTER shampoo & conditioner and let it work its magic for a few minutes [perfect opportunity to shave, exfoliate, cheese grate your feet — do whatever you gotta do 😉 ] then rinse! And just like that, your hair is smooth, shiny, and moisturized! Right now, I use 1-2 times a week or about every 2-3 washes.

We are traveling soon and if there is anything I’m worried about it’s will my almost two year old sleep or not? I purchased this Slumberpod to put over his pack n play to help keep it dark while he sleeps because let’s be honest, finding extra blankets around the condo to hang over the windows is not ideal. It definitely does a great job at blocking out the light! There is also a spot to put our monitor and even a little fan for extra air flow. Now here’s to hoping my little guy likes it too!

I have been curious about using satin pillowcases for a long time and I finally remembered to buy a set. Lol! From what I’ve heard/read over the years, they are supposed to help fight hair frizz and breakage while you sleep. I have been sleeping on these for 2 weeks now and I actually have noticed a difference! I have super duper thick hair and frizz in the mornings is just something I dealt with but let me tell you, girl…I guess i should’ve made the switch sooner. Even if I hadn’t seen any improvement in that area I would still say these are a good buy. They added a pop of (my favorite) color to my bed and the sheen makes me feel kinda fancy, plus the price is great! I’m a bit of a bargain shopper if you all haven’t noticed!
