Old Navy is bringin’ the heat this spring! The LIY Team recently hit up the internet aisles of one of our favorite retailers to see what new arrivals we could find. It’s safe to say we fell in love with more than a few things– so today, we’re sharing all of our fav finds [along with a few fails]. Get ready to fill up your online shopping cart in 3, 2, 1…

Erin’s Finds

You were right — these Old Navy linen-blend pants are the best  After hearing so many of you say you love these, I decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did! So comfortable and such a cute look for something different than traditional denim! A great spring and summer pant!

The only pants I want to wear in the Spring and Summer… Linen blend. We all know their linen-blend pants are a crowd favorite and I just got them in this cropped straight leg version and wow, if you want comfort in your summer pants, you’ll have it with these! And this neutral tie dye is perfect for Summer!

These joggers have taken the internet [and my closet] by storm. If there is anything I’m not going to stop buying anytime soon it’s joggers. These are super lightweight and comfortable, making them a perfect option for all of my spring and summer jogging needs [and by jogging needs I clearly mean coffee runs] 😉 Several colors available and petite, regular and tall lengths available!

Sandals, heels, or sneakers — the world is your oyster with this Midi dress! I love that you can dress it up or down depending on the day and agenda at hand. The added bonus? The cute little ruffle on each sleeve.

Old Navy strikes again with this fun ruffled top! This leopard tank is a fun option for the office [just throw on a blazer or sweater over top] or for summer hangouts with shorts! Are you still into Leopard print?

Can’t stop with these tanks, I may own one or two [maybe three]! I’ve had several of these tanks for years and this new stripe pattern reminded me just how much I love them! Pair it with shorts, jeans, cardigans or jackets. The world is your oyster with these friends!

Warmer days are coming friends, at least that’s what we keep telling ourselves since we’ve seen a couple too many cold days the last several weeks. This transition to Summer outfit is the perfect mix of casual, comfy and put together without the guesswork!

I’m a sucker for Old Navy shorts and this pair has been on heavy rotation since I received them! Wiggle room for those legs, don’t ride up and a 3” inseam that covers the booty! Throw them on with this perfect weight sweater for Spring and Summer and you’re set for whatever the day, or weather brings you.

So no one told you the 2020’s were going to be this waaaaaay CLAP-CLAP-CLAP-CLAP! One things for sure – this Friends tee will be there for me probably way too many times this Summer! The tee is unisex, so take that into consideration when ordering your size. I went with a Large and am happy with the roominess it provides.

Next in the lineup of shirts Old Navy has created to help me relive the 90’s one sitcom at a time – this Seinfeld tee! This tee is also unisex and again I went with a Large for some extra room in the areas a unisex tee isn’t cut to fit (you know, the space a Manssiere might take up). My husband was side eyeing this tee when it arrived and I’m getting a little nervous it will be the topic of airing our grievances next Festivus if he tries to take it.

Anyone want to go camping? I think I’ve got a tent that could hold us all! I’m actually really sad about this sweatshirt! It was the item I was most looking forward to receiving, but when it arrived it was just too wide and too short for my body type. If you have a shorter torso, and are a little less large in the chest, please try it and love it in my place!

There’s nothing better than a pop of color for Spring and Summer [okay, that may not be entirely true ;)] and this cami is the perfect shade of red/orange! An easy layering piece with this personal and LIY fave denim jacket or pair it with your go to denim shorts and sandals!

Cassidy’s Finds

Striped Rib Knit Tee [wearing size XS] // High Waisted Wide Leg Pant [wearing size 2]

I am feeling spring READY in this little get up! I am loving this ribbed tee, it is super cute all while being super comfy and fits like a glove! I especially love how it pairs with these wide leg pants! These pants are extra high waisted–if you have a big booty like me they may give you the “wedgie” look [think like the Levi Wedgie fit here], I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about it but overall I still think they are cute as can be!

High-Waisted StretchTech Hybrid Shorts [wearing size XS] // Wild and Fable Tee [wearing size XS]

This girl needed some more active shorts! The ones I have been wearing are sooo old and were in desperate need of updating! I found these cuties at Old Navy and LOVE them. Once I got them, I went back and ordered two more pairs! They are high waisted, lightweight, not restricted and loose around the thigh!

Okay I also had to try these lounge shorts. I love how they are soft material but still hold their shape and structure! I can still feel like I am in my PJs without feeling embarrassed when I go out to get the mail or take out the trash, ha! Paired them with some of my fave Amazon workout tops and this tie dye jacket!

Lauren’s Finds

High Neck Dress [true to size, wearing in medium] // Sandals [size up .5] // Rattan Headband 

It’s a good thing you can’t see the amount of black dresses in my closet, because you’d DEFINITELY tell me I don’t need another, but I promise, this one is different than the rest! 😉 I love that it’s pinched a bit at the waist while still being plenty loose and flowy, and has a unique high neck line! I topped it off with a cute rattan headband to add a little something extra to the plain black!

If loving square neck tops is wrong, I don’t want to be right! Add in smocking and pretty  floral print, and I’m sold, just like I was on this one!

I am always on the hunt for simple tees I can throw on with jeans and head out the door [looking at you school drop off!], and this henley tee was just that! It’s available in plenty of colors and prints and has an oversized fit! I’m wearing in a medium, and am thinking I might need to shrink it a little 😉  I paired it with these distressed white jeans [that have some good stretch to them!] for an extra summery feel!

Katy’s Finds

Faux Leather Sandals [size up .5]

There’s nothing better than sandal season and I will be reaching for these a lot!! I love that you can dress them up or throw them on with a tee. I got my usual size 8 but they are a little on the small size so I would size up .5! Also available in white, snakeskin, and black.

Maxi Swing Sundress [true to size, wearing XS] // Sandals [size up .5]

Taking Living In Yellow very literally here…I thought this maxi sundress was the sweetest thing for Spring! It even has little embroidered flowers and HI, POCKETS. It is a little on the “poofy” side, but if you don’t want a maxi that clings, this one is for you! If you are larger chested I would try sizing up one.

Smocked Jersey Jumpsuit [size down if in between, wearing small] // Sandals [true to size, wearing 8]

JUMPSUITin’ for JOY. This cutie is so comfy for curling up on the couch after a coffee date with friends or for a fun dinner on the water! The wide legs will keep you cool all Spring & Summer.

Jean Short Overalls [size down if in between, wearing XS] // Tee [size up one] // Sandals [size up .5]

I had high hopes for these overalls, but sadly they were a flop. The button detailing on the hips laid in a way that was not flattering and added a few inches to my hips…no thanks! I love Old Navy, but the hunt for the perfect shorts overalls continues!

Claire’s Finds

Ruffle Cami [TTS, wearing medium] // Shorts [TTS, wearing size 8] // Sandals [TTS]

Denim shorts can be difficult, but I usually have pretty good luck with Old Navy– these are no exception! The wash is exactly what I was looking for AND they’re not too tight around the thighs. Hallelujah! If you prefer a longer inseam, Erin loves this 3″ option! I also have to rave about my tank. I loved this cami even more in person [the website photos don’t do it justice]. In fact, I’ve already wore it so often, I’m planning on ordering in more colors!

Dress [TTS, wearing medium]

Yay or nay? I’m still torn on this dress! I wanted to love it, but after trying it on, I feel like the “fit & flare” cut isn’t the most flattering on my figure. And you know what they say… if you don’t love it immediately, you’ll never wear it. Unfortunately, back it goes [I think 😉 ]! If you want to take it for a twirl, it’s available in regular, petite, and tall lengths!

Jumpsuit [true to size]

TALL LADIES UNITE! This long torso jumpsuit from Old Navy is beyond comfortable! It is a great length through the torso, and it doesn’t ride up the “WhoHa;” while sitting, standing or moving! The tall option comes in multiple colors and it is on sale for 30$! Grab one before they sell out!

Since I have a 35″ inseam, I was very leery about buying a cropped jean. I stumbled upon these high waisted, loose fitting, cropped jeans from Old Navy, and fell in love! I have been pairing these jeans with a sneaker or a strappy heel. Dress these jeans up or down, you will not be disappointed, and the best part, they are only $40!

I am constantly on the hunt for workout pants that don’t roll down on me when I’m getting my workout on. Don’t you just hate when you are walking on the treadmill, doing crutches, or squats and find yourself pulling up your pants constantly. Ladies…. I think I found my (our) perfect pair! These high waisted ⅞ length joggers from Old Navy have changed my workout game! They are light, breathable, super high waisted (no rolling down) and come in so many different colors and patterns. You know I had to buy them all! Yes, I bought them ALL! I love that I can wear them to workout in and pair them with a T-shirt and jean jacket for some cute athleisure fit. I often pair them with my Nike Vapor Max sneakers when working out. Now, these shoes are an investment, but definitely worth all the money! They are super cute and oh so comfy!

Heather here! I’m back with my new favorite jean jacket and an $8 must have! I get so much use out of this tank and have it in multiple colors! It’s great to wear tucked in with jeans, joggers, shorts and skirts this spring and summer! It’s a snug fit so I recommend sizing up one which has worked great for me! These shorts are high rise which I love and just the right length. Tip for you – I found that if I tie a knot before tying the bow it lays much better. Clearly I could still use some practice though! 🙂
