They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but confession time: I have a soft spot for shoes. They can make or break an entire outfit and an entire day– nothing ruins a day like sore feet, am I right? Moving on, but keeping the platform sandal convo going! If you haven’t noticed a theme here, spoiler alert: it’s comfort. As a thirty-something year old [who’s counting?], going on 80, my feet love anything that feels like walking on clouds. So in case you were wondering, yes – it is possible to achieve an elderly level of comfort without sacrificing style for elderly-looking footwear.

Parra Espadrille Wedge Sandal [Nude, true to size]

Ooh-la-la! Introducing the perfect wedge sandal you’ll wear on repeat this season! I’ve been wearing these back-to-back already and can’t get enough. They’re not too high, surprisingly comfortable, and match E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Apologies in advance if you see me wearing these with every. single. outfit. My man Steve can do no wrong!

Hailee Sandal [Beige Faux Leather, True to Size]

So you’ve got an event to attend this summer [we’re all a little jealous of your excuse to dress up], but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg — errr, a foot 😉 on a pair of heels? Look no further than the Hailee Sandal. It can be dressed up for work or play and it’s available in five fun color combos for whatever outfit your event entails. Last, but not least, are my beloved Crocs. If you’ve been on the fence about Crocs [I was, up until the last few years], these are here to sway your opinion.
