The leaves have started to fall, the PSLs are flowing, and the oversized sweaters paired with over the knee boots are coming in hot! This can only mean one thing. October has officially arrived. What else has arrived, you ask? Another package [or twelve] from Amazon! While I wish I was here to tell you that nothing worked out and it’s all getting sent back, unfortunately for my bank account, there was a whole lot of “ohhhhkay this is amazing” and “hi I love this” said out loud. So there you have it. What you see below is going to be g-o-o-d good, my friends. Grab yourself a mug of something toasty, and let’s take a look at what we found from Amazon!

If I was giving out an award for “best purchase made in 2020” this guy would take the trophy home. We bought this Hatch Restore after learning about it on Shark Tank [same inventor of the Hatch Baby that’s been a top seller with over 9,000 reviews] and I fell in love after night one. It’s a personalized sleep machine that will ensure you get the best night of sleep possible. You simply set-up your desired “sleep routine” ranging from reading time, meditation time, a sound machine during the night, a natural sunrise to wake up to, an alarm clock with sounds that are fun [and relaxing] to wake up to and so much more. I truly look forward to crawling into bed every night, starting my sleep routine via the app and letting the Hatch do its thing. Husband approved as well! Ps. I think this will [or at least should be] a hot seller for Christmas this year — what better gift can you give than an awesome night of sleep for life?

Expensive hats are great and all, but inexpensive ones that appear to be expensive are even better. Several of the LIY girls have bought this hat and after ordering it for our fall capsule blog post [coming soon] I was hooked. It is a little bit stiff which means it holds its shape wonderfully and packs super well [even after getting squished in my suitcase it found its shape again right away!] For under $20, you will get so much use out of this hat all fall long!

Give me a sweater that can be worn with leggings and I’m sold. This Amazon owned brand sweater is high in quality and cuteness. It pairs perfectly with my favorite faux leather leggings and I can already envision it sitting across from my hubby at our fave local restaurant this winter with a cocktail in hand. Cheers!
Tie Dye PJ Set [true to size, wearing in small in multicolor]
I know that 2020 has brought its fair share of suckiness, but it’s also brought its fair share of tie dye lounge sets and that my friends is something worth celebrating. I doubted this set when I bought it [could a full set that costs less than $30 really be that good?] but when it arrived and I put it on I was pleasantly surprised. I think it’s such a fun set that is comfy and cute for lounging around the house! This also makes for a fun gift to give your girlfriend for the holidays this year! TIE DYE FOR ALL.

Turtleneck sweaters are my fall go to fall look. This ribbed turtleneck sweater is a classic! I love that it is a more cropped length, which hits at just the right length for my pear shaped body! It’s soft and comfortable, and I know I will be wearing it time and again this season!
My beauty routine just got greener! Overall, I am so happy to be making a more environmentally conscious decision, and I’m happy with the product! I like that there is a black side for removing makeup and a white side for applying toner and other potions to your face. The claim that it works with only water did not work on my eye makeup, but I didn’t really expect it to. I used it with a few drops of my favorite micellar water and it worked just great! And it’s awesome that they plant a tree with every purchase!
As parents of a toddler, conversations between my husband and I have changed a lot over the past couple years. We used to have exciting things to discuss about all the things we’re reading or listening to, chatting about our hobbies and had tons of time to just chat about anything and everything. These days, our conversations are more about sleeping patterns and time outs and which days each person prefers to drop our daughter off at daycare. With less time to spend together and less time to ourselves, we have really appreciated these Couple’s Table Topics. With the draw of a card, we can switch the focus back to our relationship and dive deeper into each other than just the everyday details. It’s easy to grab a question during dinner, or right before we take a walk, and we have really enjoyed the deeper and more intimate conversations they have sparked!

Sweater weather is better weather and in Northern Indiana, it’s officially here! If I could get away with layering nearly every day of the year I would, but since Summer and humidity have something to say about that I’m just going to stock up on alllll the sweaters and enjoy them while I can! This Chunky Cable Knit Cardigan has been a fun new addition to my rotation. It comes in 16 color choices, is the perfect length for me (I’m 5’4!) and stands out from my other cardigans due to the cable knit detail.

Instant Digital Thermometer [shown in Indigo]
I’m not sure what my excitement over this says about me, but the satisfaction this thermometer gives me is unmatched. It is instant, accurate and so much easier than waiting for the needle on my previous thermometer to sluggishly begin moving once it’s been stuck into whatever I’m trying to read the temperature of. My old meat thermometer reminds me of the slow dragging walk to the coffee pot the morning after being up several times with a newborn. This new addition just polished off an energy drink and is ready to get things done! So simple to use – It turns on automatically when you rotate the needle away from the base, and turns off when the needle returns to position. No more guessing if the thermometer is still moving and no figuring out which button to push as you do with other digital meat thermometers.

MEOW these leggings are so fun!! I’ve been trying hard to get a workout in every morning and new workout wear definitely helps my motivation! These leggings feel SO good on, have great compression and the print is a fun switch up from my usual black pair! I paired it with this longline sports bra and I think I have a new favorite brand of workout wear!
Everymile Wobble Balance Board
If you’re looking to step up your workout game, PLEASE try this balance board! It definitely makes workouts more challenging but also helps with stability and balance! I have weaker ankles [thank you, high school sports] and this has helped a ton with strengthening them! Squats, pushups, ab workouts and the list goes on!
PUEEN Latex Tape Peel Off Cuticle Guard
I’ve been giving myself DIY manicures for a LONG time now! Getting a manicure stresses me out; between choosing the color and sitting there waiting for the tech to paint my nails only for me to mess it up… it’s a whole thing, so I avoid it lol I have a ton of trouble painting my right hand without getting nail polish all over so this little cuticle latex peel off has saved the day! Easy clean up and no more peeling nail polish off in the shower or while washing my hands!

BREAKING NEWS: Fanny packs are back and they are FASHIONABLE! Where utility meets fashion is where you can find my heart… and wallet. But seriously, I am a big supporter of the fanny pack life! I am a passionate dog mama and I used to wear this clunky, sporty fanny pack when going anywhere with my pup, but then I found this super chic fanny and everything changed! Another fact about me, but I absolutely hate having my hands full with unnecessary things. I truly hate holding purses so this fanny pack is a dream come true and keeps my hands free for whatever life may throw at me!
Okay, I am pretty excited about this purchase! I figured now was time to invest in a nice dinnerware set! Until recently, I have been using the dinnerware I bought at a resale shop nearly three years ago! It has served me well, but it was time to upgrade! I love the pottery-like look and feel of this dinnerware set! I feel like it is the perfect blend of modern and fun! Everything arrived beautifully and well packaged! Definitely recommending these!

Things I never thought I’d be getting excited about in 2020? Face mask chains. But here I am, squealing with joy over my tortoise shell, gold chain, and pearl face mask chains! These make it easy to always have your mask ready to put in at a moment’s notice [no more forgetting it in your car or digging in and out of your purse].
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall [all you have to do is call…] I’m decorating my front porch for the season! And having these battery operated lanterns as the base to my decor is going to be great moving forward! With an automatic timer, you can set them to turn on and off at the ideal times each night!

Two things we can’t get enough of lately are comfy loungewear and tie dye, and this Amazon sweatshirt checks both of those boxes! It doesn’t hurt that it’s available in over 15 colors and under $25! I don’t love that it’s a polyester material, as the pics on Amazon make it look much more cottony, BUT I still like the fit and print!

Finding a kitchen table can be pretty tough if you’re living the apartment life. I struggled to find one that would fit in my space until this one. It’s compact but still is large enough to comfortably seat 2-4 people. Plus, it comes with barstools!! There are other nice color options, but I went with the brown because it was the best deal!

My best friend was wearing this necklace the last time we got together and I was so excited to hear it was an Amazon find! I’m loving the chainlink jewelry trend this season, but wasn’t looking to spend an arm and a leg on “trendy” jewelry. This one is the perfect length for layering and under $15!

Introducing my first-ever diffuser! I know I’m behind on this bandwagon, but when I heard about the Santal Aroma Oil I finally caved. If you’ve ever stayed at 1Hotels and fallen in love with the scent [but not the price of their candles- eek!], this is the oil you need in your life. Get ready, your home sweet home is about to smell like a five star hotel– for a fraction of the price. 😉 ps. A little bit goes a long way, I would suggest three drops max.
