Cue the leaf confetti, friends. The first day of fall is officially here! Never mind the temperatures reaching mid-80’s here in Indiana this week [Mother Nature is confused, but that’s neither here nor there]. Regardless of the temps that have us sweating in our boots, we’re fully embracing the arrival of autumn around these parts. And what better way to kick off the season than celebrating with my favorite article of clothing: leggings. Love ’em or hate ’em, get ready. The most comfortable member of my wardrobe has already started making it’s grand appearance and it’s not stopping anytime soon. Today we’re taking leggings from cozy, around the house looks to an elevated date night out [or date night in, who knows in 2020] and everywhere in between. Calling all homebodies! Who am I kidding? We’re all homebodies in 2020. If snuggling at home is your jam, I can’t recommend the OFFLINE line at Aerie enough. Just when I thought I couldn’t love Aerie more, they went ahead and created yet another comfortable, activewear line [physical activity optional] that I can’t get enough of. And if you’ve followed along for any length of time, then you already know my love for these slippers runs deep. I can’t stop, won’t stop talking about them anytime soon. Warning: you may never take them off. Worth every. single. penny.

Maybe you’re back in the office, maybe you’re still working from home. You may or may not be running errands [AKA grocery store pick-up], but whatever life is like at the moment– we get it. One way or another, you’re on the go and want to be put together without sacrificing comfort. And if there’s one thing I love about leggings, it’s their ability to be dressed up or down. Insert boots and cardigans. I’ve been wearing these riding boots for years and continue to turn to them season after glorious fall season. Saddle up, ladies. It’s riding boot weather.
