Come one, come all and get on board because we are going around the world! Yup, you read that right. Not even quarantine can stop us from creating this travel inspired food board! We celebrated Becca’s birthday earlier in July who is our team travel bug! This is perfect for the world traveler or adventurous soul in your life! Take a quick peak below for how we created it and how you can customize it for a friend or family to make them feel extra special!
First things first, snag yourself a super cute serving tray or board. We picked up this beauty of a board locally at Joyfully Said Signs! Next, we ordered these adorable toothpick flags, if you are crafty you could probably DIY them, but we opted to buy them ???? Just be sure that the toothpick flags have the correct countries that you will need! From there, we picked out countries that Becca had traveled to or that had special meaning to her! And next comes the fun part! Making, baking and arranging foods that represent each country!
Here is the list we ended up with:
- US: Mini Sliders
- Mexico: Chicken Tacos [we used these mini taco stands to hold them up!]
- Canada: Tarts
- Brazil: Brazilian Cheese Bread
- Italy: Meat and Cheese
- United Kingdom: British Scones
- France: Croissants
- China: Spring Roll
- Sweden: Sticky Buns
- Lebanon: Falafel and Hummus
