At-Home Activewear From Athleta

One of the few things keeping me sane while spending this time at home has been daily workouts. If I’m being completely honest, I’ve actually found myself exercising now more than ever. Quarantine 2020: a place where the phrase “I don’t have time” doesn’t exist. But really, there’s just something about breaking a sweat and getting my blood pumping that works wonders on boosting my mood. Who knew boob sweat could bring a person so much joy? Add that to the list of things I’m learning about myself throughout all of this.

While I suddenly have plenty of time on my hands, that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m overflowing with motivation. If you’d offer me an evening of mac and cheese vs. an evening of planks and push-ups, I’ll give you one guess which option I’m leaning towards. Hint: it starts with mac and ends with cheese. However, I’m a firm believer that cute athletic gear is one of the best workout motivators. Insert Athleta. If you’ve followed along for any length of time, then you probably already know my love for Athleta runs deep. From joggers to jackets, their comfort level is unmatched. This is the type of workout gear you won’t want to take off. In addition to comfort and quality, it’s cute enough that you’ll be looking for an excuse to wear it out to the mailbox and back. Twice. Go ahead, do your lunges in the front yard. We’re not judging. Today, I’m sharing a few of my top picks from Athleta perfect for whatever workout you’re taking on. 

Running & Cardio

Let me start off by saying YOU GO GIRL. Getting yourself up and moving at high speeds is no easy task. But we can make it easier by rockin’ the proper gear and looking good while doing so. And by “good” I mean “most-likely extremely sweaty, loud breathing, and hair slicked back”. At least we’ll be panting in style.

Yoga & Studio

Now we’re talking– this is more my speed. Don’t get me wrong. While you may not be trekking miles on foot, there is NOTHING easy about yoga and studio-style workouts. Ever tried plyo? Woof. If this type of exercise is more your speed [hi, me too!] these picks should be right up your alley. Namaste.
