2020

I’m walking into this season with a little extra spring in my step. Sure, the ever flowing stream of caffeine these days might be playing a role, but I’m convinced it also has something to do with the sneakers laced up on my feet. If you’ve been following along on the fashion side of things lately, you may have noticed a common theme. I’ve been kickin’ it in my sneaks with nearly every. single. outfit. Tennis shoes, tennies, sneakers, sneaks? Regardless of what you call them, it’s no exaggeration when I say they’re being worn on repeat this season. Today I’m sharing 3 easy ways to style sneakers for spring, so you can rock them back to back too!

Get Down to Business

Notch Collar Blazer [size down if in between, wearing XS] // Cami [true to size] // High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans [size down if in between] // Sneakers [true to size]

Ever hear of business in the front, party in the back [typically referring to a mullet]? Well today we’re business on the top, party on the bottom. There’s just something about a blazer that makes me want to embrace everything being a boss babe entails. Slip your feet into a cute and comfy pair of sneaks and you’re ready to run the world. Or at least dominate a business meeting. I’m a firm believer that Zoom-friendly looks shouldn’t sacrifice style– except maybe that time last week when I wore a this bathrobe to our LIY Team meeting. You win some, you lose some. And that, my friends, was a win in my book.

Dress them Down

Jean Jacket [size up if in between, wearing small] // Scoop Neck Tee [size down if in between, wearing XS] // Stay Home Jogger [size up one, use code LIYTRIBE for 15% off] // V-10 Sneakers [size up for .5 sizes]

V-10 Sneakers [size up for .5 sizes]

If there’s one thing I love about tennies, it’s their ability to elevate any outfit. I’m stepping up my errand-running game lately by stepping into a pair of fun sneaks. From business ready blazers to groutfits [that’s grey-outfit for those of who probably rock ’em, but didn’t know what to call ’em], a good pair of shoes can pull the whole look together with the tie of a lace or two.

Dress to Impress

Swing Dress [size down if in between, wearing XS] // Leopard Star Sneaker [true to size]

Believe me when I say this will quickly become your go-to cute and equally comfy spring ‘fit. A comfortable dress + comfortable sneakers = the ultimate [and comfortable] dynamic duo. Did I mention the comfort level? Go ahead, get your comfy on.
