Best Of: Target Holiday Home Edition

It is no secret that I am an avid Target shopper. I find myself constantly just wandering in with a cup of Starbucks in hand, spending a little too much time joyfully browsing every aisle. Do I need something for my home office? Maybe a new outfit or three? Definitely a pair of pajamas and most likely a new sports bra. Don’t get me started on Target holiday home decor. Throw pillows, rugs and candles, oh my!

I recently ventured in to do a little window shopping of their Christmas home decor and well, window shopping also turned into purchases because hi, Target. I thought it’d be fun to show you what I bought along with other things that caught my eye. While I’m not decorated yet [something about house projects galore happening at the cabin which is where we’ll reside this winter] I’m excited to be able to start one of these days. You can catch last year’s Christmas home tour here! Without further ado, I present to you the best of Target’s holiday aisles.

Neutral Color Scheme:

If you are a neutral / classic Christmas girl, the next several items are for you! Reds, greens and cozy shades of cream, these are the things I brought home with me [yes that was a Christmas rhyme].

Hearth & Hand Mugs – Can you ever actually ever have enough? Exactly.

Hearth & Hand Jar Candle – Sugared Birch  – If you haven’t smelled this yet, you MUST. It is hands down my favorite winter scent and I burn it all season long. Highly highly, recommend.

Next up – this 24″ Faux White Pine Wreath with Metal Bell which with the hanging bells is oh so festive and perfect for any door or mantle!

[this throw is Threshold brand and while I can’t find it right now on their website, you can check back at this link to see if it comes back in stock anytime soon! It is so thick and chunky and was only $70 which is a steal compared to dupes that are $500!]

Last but not least of what I actually bought, this Threshold fa la la’ Printed Velvet Oversize Lumbar Throw Pillow which just makes me happy looking at it.

Now on to some great neutral finds that I walked by in the store and couldn’t help but fall in love with….this 3 pc Taper Candle Holder Set Gold is perfect for any area you want to add some candles [dining table, mantel, kitchen island…]

How great are these Threshold 15.7″ x 7.2″ Metal Lantern Pillar Candle Holders with the leather strap detail?! I think these are so fun to scatter throughout the house on on the hearth of your fireplace to light it up at night!Sticking with the similar color scheme, the moment I spotted this Project 62 Gino Turned Drum Accent Table. While I know it’s not holiday specific, it is house perfect and that my friends, is worth buying. Next up, a few pillows that fit into the red / green / ivory color scheme. I love the simple look of these Threshold Embroidered Snowy Trees Lumbar Throw Pillows which have the most beautiful embroidered detail. I want these in my home stat!If you prefer the look of a more classic holiday option these Threshold Tartan Plaid Throw Pillows offer just that. I think we all need a little [or a lot] of Tartan Plaid around during the holidays!Don’t forget about the outside of your house when decorating — this Hearth & Hand with Magnolia 18″X30″ Door Mat Joy will make any guest smile upon arrival. Next stop, stockings. I fell in love with this Project 62 17″ x 5″ Four Hook Metal Stocking Holder with Artificial Pine Greenery right when I saw it. It already has garland attached which saves you a step in the decorating process. Just set it down, hang your stockings and you’re ready to roll! When it comes to stockings, the options are plentiful at Target this year. Here were a few styles that caught my eye:

Now on the to the colorful stuff!

If you prefer all sorts of fun color around your home during the holidays, there is no shortage of that either! Here were a few bright, bold and fun items that caught my eye! First up, this 24″ Tinsel Christmas Tree with Ornaments which makes for an adorable tree in either a kiddos room or your office!

Also on the list of plentiful supply – colorful fun pillows that will make your couch happy. These styles caught my eye:

You can’t forget about the garland while you’re at it — how fun is this Christmas Pom Pom Garland which adds color and texture to wherever it is you are decorating?!

Last but certainly not least, the bottle brush trees. I have several sets of these as I think they are so fun scattered all around the fireplace mantel..you can create the most colorful forest you’ve ever seen, right in your home! Here are two sets to get you started..

And that concludes today’s “what I found while walking around the aisles of Target in the happiest state of my life” post. How do you decorate for the season — neutrals and classics or bold and bright?!
