Two Concert Outfits to Take You From Summer To Fall

July 25, 2019

Disclosure: Thank you to Lord + Taylor and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post. All products were selected, purchased and loved by yours truly!

I hate to break it to you, but fall is right around the corner. The end of July is here, which means school starts for most people next month, which means it’s basically #PSL season followed immediately by Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick. Like I said, it’s right around the corner. Sorry folks. But this isn’t all bad news! This also happens to be one of my favorite times of year because around these parts, it’s concert season!

It seems like the concerts stack up on top of each other late summer and into fall, and I’m perfectly okay with that! Country, pop, rock, I’m not picky! It’s a great way to get out with friends or Shawn and enjoy some live music together! Sometimes the concerts are indoors while other times they’re outdoors, so figuring out how to dress for them is key, especially as the nights start to get cooler as the sun goes down!

The easiest item to add to your wardrobe for concerts? A moto jacket. Nothing screams “concert outfit” to me like a bit of leather [or faux leather], and the moto jacket trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon! I picked this one up [along with everything else you see here] from Lord + Taylor! They have their ”First Look at Fall” event happening right now, with up to 40% off! It’s the perfect time to stock up on items to transition you from summer to fall at a great price! If you don’t know where to start, you can’t beat the L+T Faves section! Plus, Lord + Taylor carries so many of my favorite brands, such as Sam Edelman, Liverpool, Sanctuary, and Blank NYC!

Blank NYC Full-Zip Notch Jacket [TTS, wearing size small] // Sanctuary Leopard Printed Button-Front Tank Top [TTS, wearing size small] Similar Top // William Rast Classic Skinny Jeans // 1.STATE Ilan Leather Peep Toe Booties // CORE life Mini Tote Crossbody

If you’re a jeans girl, this first outfit is the one for you! I paired these skinny jeans with a fun leopard tank top! Animal print is majorly trending this summer and fall, and this tank has added buttons down the front to give it some extra detail!  The tank top, jeans, and block heels are a great option for those evenings that start out warm, but as soon as the sun goes down the temps drop quickly. Add on your moto jacket, and you’re covered from head to toe and ready to enjoy the music! These shoes are also perfect for a night of standing on your feet, with their comfortable chunky heel!

Blank NYC Full-Zip Notch Jacket [TTS, wearing size small] // QUIZ – Cold-Shoulder Shift Dress [TTS, wearing size 2] // Leopard Dress // 1.STATE Ilan Leather Peep Toe Booties // Steve Madden Corina Studded Crossbody Bag

The second outfit is perfect for the extra warm nights, where you may not need to throw on that extra layer until the very end of the night, if at all! This red dress is super lightweight and has fun cold-shoulder cutouts! I love the contrast in color of the red dress against the black moto jacket! Put on the block heel shoes from the first outfit, add in a studded crossbody bag to keep you hands-free all night, grab that moto jacket and get your singing voice ready!
