Shorts season is here — I know because I am bringing you this post while sitting outside on the patio while wearing shorts. I don’t know if there’s a better season than shorts season, mostly for the tan legs perspective. Shorts themselves can be tricky. Are they long enough? Short enough? Loose enough? Tight enough? The list goes on of reasons why we hate shopping for shorts, but it doesn’t have to be that way. After trying out more shorts than I care to admit, I’ve rounded up 10 tried and true favorites that have worked well for me! Below you’ll see that roundup of shorts that will hopefully check off your list of must-haves [and must-have-nots]!
Before we get into all of the outfits, let’s get the logistics out of the way to make this process easier on you – for sizing reference, I am 5’4, 125 lbs on a good day, typically a 2 in tops/dresses and 26 in jeans/pants with a preferred inseam of 26-28 inches. Bra size is 30DDD [I get it from my momma]. Hopefully, this helps when determining what size you’d need.
