They are my friends. My dream makers, problem solvers, shoulders to cry on, brains behind it all and my greatest assets – they are the Living In Yellow team. This group of girls has evolved and grown over the past two years and now sits at seven of us, all doing our thing[s] to help keep LIY afloat. If we haven’t met before, hey there! I’m Erin aka Leader of the Pack and founder of LIY! My day to day includes chatting often with the lineup of ladies below, hanging out over on our social media accounts, writing blog posts, and dreaming up new ideas for us to work on!

It’s 10 pm at night, you have a glass of vino in your hands and a face mask on – what show is on your TV? I wouldn’t know thanks to the laptop in front of my face 😉 On a rare occasion when I’m focused on the TV, aka Sunday nights, it’s Shark Tank. I’m a Shark Tank junkie. I’m not sure if this makes me a nerd or a true entrepreneur. Don’t answer that.

You have $100 to spend, what’s the first thing you buy? Food. I love spending money on food. I don’t know if it’s the social aspect of dining out or the reality that no mess or cleanup had to happen in my kitchen, but it’s true – I would eat out for every. single. meal if I could.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you got older? I don’t want to brag, but I’ve always been a big dreamer, a true visionary if you will. I knew I was bound for greatness by my early childhood dreams of being a bagger at a grocery store. It was all I could dream about and I’d practice in our living room by lining up items on the couch and then sliding them down from one end to the other to then put into a plastic bag. And now here we are. Fail.

If you were an animal what would you be? A tiger shark, aka the garbage can of the sea. They apparently eat everything in sight. I can relate.

What is your go-to Netflix binge-worthy show? I’m a ride or die Friends fan!! I consider Rachel my best friend for life and if you ask my husband he will tell you I have watched the series 12+ times!! What can I say Friends = Life [that or Sex and the City]!!

You have $100 to spend, what’s the first thing you buy? SHOES SHOES SHOES [or maybe a jacket]!! In my eyes shoes can make the outfit, the perfect statement piece and something I will invest in and keep for years!! Jackets are a close second they can definitely make that outfit pop without the fuss!!

What is your travel Bucket List destination? Italy, Paris, Ireland ALL of it!! Pasta wine, cheese and pastries what else does a girl need in life ????Oh and the views would be the cherry on top of all that

Hi tribe! I’m Lauren, the team’s Marketing Specialist. You can usually find me creating content or working on a few upcoming LIY projects!

What is your guilty pleasure? Getting my nails done, celebrity gossip, and 2000s hip hop.

What’s your favorite place to shop? My two weaknesses are Amazon and Target. For some reason, cute items just mysteriously jump into my cart at both places!

Where has your favorite place been to visit? My husband and I splurged and went to Bora Bora for our honeymoon. Every day there seemed like a dream. I’m not sure any vacation will ever compare to day after day of snorkeling right off our deck or swimming with sharks [yes, I said that]. We’re still trying to figure out how to open up a beach bar and live there forever.

Hey there! I’m Steph, Brand Collaborations Coordinator and Strategic Analyst here at LIY! What exactly does all of that mean? Basically that I communicate with brands that would like to collaborate with us and organize all of the deliverables for the posts! I also work closely with our data to find trends of what Y-O-U are looking for, all while getting overly excited about making spreadsheets and graphs. #truth

What is your coffee order? While I have been known to drink Pumpkin Spice Coffee year round, my normal order is Hazelnut Coffee with a tiny splash of cream or a Hazelnut Breve [fancy word for espresso with steamed half and half] if I’m feeling fancy.

What was your first job? I worked at our a local movie theater! Give me ALL the popcorn!

What is your favorite season? While I love living in an area where we experience all 4 seasons, I’ll take Fall over any other season! Pumpkins, apples, scarves, boots, crisp air, Friday Night Lights, the newness of back to school… I love it all!

Becca

Hi ladies, I’m Becca! In my role as creative director, I get the chance to imagine all the possibilities of what LIY could be! I come up with new ideas or content, write the occasional blog post, lead meetings to help get the team’s creative juices flowing, and head up brand extensions [a.k.a. any projects that we might take on that are outside of our normal blog activities – think Gibson X Living in Yellow!]. I also am the team’s lead graphic designer, and have made it my mission that everything we produce is fun & beautiful!

How many cups of coffee does it take to get through the workday? My day doesn’t start until I’ve had a cup of coffee by the fire with my hubby. Then I grab another cup the minute I get to the office. And I usually a third to get me through the afternoon. In the words of my spirit animal, Lorelai Gilmore, “I can’t stop drinking the coffee. I stop drinking the coffee, I stop doing the standing and the walking and the words putting into sentence doing!”

What career did you want to do when you were little? When I was in Middle School I saw a chef at Pizza Hut slice an entire pizza in probably 5 seconds flat. It was magical! From that day forward, I knew there was nothing else I wanted to do with my life but be a “pizza cutter”. That or be a teacher.

What’s your guilty pleasure? Well, I already mentioned Gilmore Girls, which has been playing on repeat at my house for the past 18 years. Along those same lines, I love anything nostalgic, so you will often find me singing along to 90s pop and rewatching Harry Potter for the umpteenth time.

Hi friends! My name is Claire, Community Engagement Specialist here at Living in Yellow. I manage the LIY inbox, oversee the Insiders Group, and help answer all of your questions!

You have $100 to spend, what’s the first thing you buy? A pair of shoes, obviously. How many is too many? The limit does not exist.

What is your favorite season? Fall! Leggings with an oversized sweater is my uniform. Did I mention tailgating, spiked cider, and pumpkin candles?

If you were stuck on an island what are three things you would need with you to survive and why? Besides water [can I add vodka and a lemon?] and shelter: a good book, deodorant, and my pup, Oliver. A book, because you can never go wrong with a good read. Deodorant because I sweat profusely regardless of the temperature – seriously might need to see a doctor about this. Oliver, because a Dog Mama can’t live without her fur babe.
