It is finally here — the complete recap of the countless outfits I either packed for or wore on our recent cruise [it turns out one doesn’t actually need to pack 30 outfits for a 7 day cruise, who knew?] I had the hardest time knowing what I should take and shouldn’t take when it came to our Caribbean Cruise. Clearly bathing suits and coverups are a must, but what about excursion days? Or chilly evenings on the ship? How formal is formal night? The moral of the story is that while you need some options, you don’t need to take your entire closet…lesson learned. I’m hoping this post provides you some ideas on what to pack for your next warm weather vacation whether you want to get all gussied up or prefer to keep it casual.
Before we dive in let’s get the logistics out of the way to make this process easier on you – for sizing reference, I am 5’4, 125 lbs on a good day, typically a 2 in tops/dresses and 26 in jeans/pants with a preferred inseam of 26-28 inches. Bra size is 30DDD [I get it from my momma]. Hopefully, this helps when determining what size you’d need.
