Is there truly a better season for dressing than fall? I vote no. I don’t know if I love it so much because it means that humidity has officially left the air, my hands usually have a cup of something delicious and warm in them or because layers really are my jam, but whatever it is – fall fashion = the best fashion. One thing I’ve also always believed in is that seasonal dressing shouldn’t cost a fortune. Insert Marks & Spencer, a go-to destination to find British designed wardrobe essentials for the entire family. I was just recently introduced to this brand and I can already tell you that I am hooked. With free express delivery over $50, a HUGE inventory of quality pieces at prices you truly won’t believe [I put together this blog post for $200 from head to toe, accessories included] and options for EVERYBODY on your shopping list, it’s a must-have online shopping destination that I truly think you’re going to love.
If you too are ready to start loading up on those fall must-have items, here’s the items that made my lineup:
Single breasted blazer // Striped long sleeve tee
I am so happy that blazers are here to stay. I don’t think there’s anything more sharp for layering in these cooler months than a blazer that makes a statement. This red single breasted blazer is the perfect example of class and fun weaved into one. Whether you’re headed into the office or a night out on the town, a quality blazer that will last for years is always a good investment to make [and this one for under $80 is a guilt-free purchase]!
Striped long sleeve tee [size up one, wearing in US 2 but need US 4] // High Waist Super Skinny Jeggings // Block Heel Chelsea Ankle Boots
I couldn’t survive without these tees. Under $15 and the easiest thing to throw on with any jacket, vest or to wear alone. When I think of fall, I always think of striped long sleeve tees as they are my most worn basic all season long. Getting one [or four] that feel great is a must. It should be noted that their pieces do run on the small side, I would recommend sizing up from your regular US size.
High Waist Super Skinny Jeggings // Block Heel Chelsea Ankle Boots
As we know, denim rules all when it comes to fall. Whether you’re tailgating, venturing to your local pumpkin patch, wine tasting with the girlfriends or whatever it may be, comfort is king. I’m a huge jeggings fan as jeggings = leggings but in denim material. Basically it’s a free pass to wearing pajamas. I bought these High Waist Super Skinny Jeggings and while I may have ordered a size too small [blaming you mac and cheese] I know that in my correct size they will be magical as their comfort level is off the charts. It should be noted that their pieces do run on the small side, I would recommend sizing up from your regular US size.
4. Booties that were made for walkin’
Block Heel Chelsea Ankle Boots
Give me all the boots and booties, am I right? I ventured out of my comfort zone [all things brown/tan] and went with these under $50 booties in navy for a twist of something different. Super comfortable and stinkin’ cute. Oh, Marks & Spencer I am going to be in so much trouble with you.
Faux leather tote // Striped long sleeve tee [size up one, wearing in US 2 but need US 4] // Block Heel Chelsea Ankle Boots [true
Last but certainly not least, at number 5 for my list of fall must-haves is a great tote bag that can support all of your layering habits. I love having a bag that is big enough to carry my jackets or sweaters as temps start to creep up during the day. I found this tote for under $30 [it comes in some of the most delicious fall colors] and know that it will come in all sorts of handy during the next couple of months.
Fall, your presence is now welcome. Remember to check out Marks & Spencer for your new favorite wardrobe essentials. Their new arrivals have me all sorts of heart eyes….
