Today I’m bringing you four styles that will not only look adorable but feel good on your feet as well. Let’s get this party started..oh wait, speaking of a party – I may have had one when I saw that a few of my “featured looks” are being featured on Nordstrom.com right now. That’s right – yours truly had the opportunity of piecing together a few looks for their website including this April Showers Brings May Flowers outfit and this fun little shorts story look. Be sure to look out for myself and a few of my other favorite bloggers in their “Influencer Picks” at the bottom of the pieces you are shopping!
First up, we have the slide sandal that you’ve probably been seeing all over the place. Not only are they easy to slide off and on [hence the name], this pair has a cushioned rubber sole and is topped off with the cutest of cute knotted bow. This poppy color caught my eye immediately [followed by the mustard suede, gah, I die] and I couldn’t love them more. Paired perfectly with a lightweight linen dress and straw hat, this is the perfect look for your Memorial Day BBQ. Red, white and blue – you’ve never looked better.
Next up on the list of this year’s spring sandal trends we have the much-debated mule. I would be lying if I said I jumped on this trend at the beginning. I am very resistant to try new trends [evidence I am not a true “fashion blogger”] but my team convinced me to try this pair and dare I say I love them an incredible amount? I don’t know if it’s their resemblance to a wicker chair or the fact that they are so freaking comfortable or what, but I’m a mule lover fo’ life now. Paired with a pair of jeans and this tie front top, it’s the perfect outfit for days on the go.
Maybe you’re one of the lucky ones who are headed to a pool, a beach or better yet – are boat bound and need some sandals you can throw on and not have to worry about getting wet, well friends, I found em’. These under $40 Birkenstocks will instantly make your feet happy [common side effect of yellow] and compliment any sweatshirt dress perfectly. These sandals are super lightweight and the cushioned sole, contoured footboard and arch support make these a feel good closet must-have.
And saving the best for last – my FAVORITE spring sandal trend, the espadrille wedge. If you’ve gotta go for height, these are the way to go. This under $100 pair of wedges is the MOST comfortable pair that I have found. I wear them all day long and still don’t want to take them off. Available in three colors, I would absolutely aboard the espadrille train. I paired the wedges with the cutest little button front cami and some earrings that scream fun. Brunch with the girls, date with the man, I don’t care what your day brings – this outfit will be ready for you.
