The Post You Never Saw Coming: A Weekend Recap

Jul

And so the dreaded days after the 4th of July weekend begin. I’m having a harder time than usual this year loosening my grip around the fact that it’s all over. That could be because I have yet to eat ice cream this weekend which seems very un-american of me or it could be because the next holiday which grants a day off of work isn’t until September which is basically forever in unpatient people terms.

It’s a weird feeling coming off of this weekend because it was busy…quite busy actually, but busy with doing nothing. Our days were spent out on the water and our nights were spent around a fire. According to my body quite a few cocktails were consumed and tan lines were accumulated. I think I need to detox from life for the next 7 days.

Needless to say, it’s time for the weekend recap of all photos taken. If that’s not exciting I don’t know what is. Proceed pictures.

A quick word to the locals—be sure to check out the shows at Ignition Music in downtown Goshen. We went to a concert there this past weekend with my dad and it was one of the most fun evenings I’ve had in awhile. They bring in awesome entertainment and the atmosphere is great. I can’t wait to go back, check check check it out.

Onward…

We are so lucky to have our friends all around here [and lucky that those who live in Nashville decided to come home for the 4th]. Without all of these people up above my life would not be nearly as fun and eventful as it is. Fist pounds friends.

Last but not least and a little way off topic, I wanted to share this cuter than ever boho bracelet I have been wearing recently. Everybody needs a boho bracelet in their life if you know what I mean. I am diggin’ coral and turquoise this year..if you feel the same, check out the details below and make sure to use the promo code while you are at it.

bracelet: Hole In Her Stocking // use code YELLOW20 for 20% off
Hope you all had an equally amazing 4th of July with friends and family. I’m off to go claim my citizenship rights and down some fro yo like nobodies business. Peace. Happy 6th peeps, it’s been real.
