Bright Eyed And Bushy Tailed [How I Take Care Of My Face]

July 9, 2014

By:

Erin Schrader

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it turns out that taking care of your face and skin is important. I know this is hard to cope with as we all like to think that our thirteen year old selves know all in the beauty department, but it’s time to stop believing the “but it’s so much easier to just sleep with your make-up on” hype. While I have tried my hand at several different skin care lines, it’s been hard to find what exactly works [and feels best] for my skin. I recently came across Belmondo and was intrigued due to its all natural ingredients. I’m not sure when it became logical to induce our faces with chemicals upon chemicals but it only seems natural [pun intended] that we use ingredients that we actually know how to pronounce. I figured I would show off some of my favorite items in case you are on the hunt for a skin care regimen that not only feels great, but makes sense.

LIVINGINYELLOW for 15% off [valid until July 23rd]
The first product I use [day and night] is the The Rain Face Wash. This is an apple cider vinegar laced with mint and lavender. The fun part is that you spray it all over your face and then rinse it off with water so that’s entertaining if you are as easily amused as I.
Next, I use After The Rain Toner as that makes the most natural sense in this sequence of products. This toner isn’t your normal alcohol heavy toner but rather has rose flower, witch hazel, lavender, and chamomile [which really just makes me want to drink it].

The third product [I only use this at night] is The Dunes Almond Oil Face Scrub. This exfoliant is my jam. Just rub a dub dub all over my face and my skin is good as gold. Heavenly I tell you.

Last but certainly not least, is my favorite step–The Cloud Moisturizer. Made with organic Italian olive oil, I promise you you will not find a smoother, softer moisturizer than this one. It’s one of those that you can’t stop rubbing your face after you apply it.

I am so thankful I have started using Belmondo products and can’t wait to add more to my collection. They look great [seriously, how cool is their packaging], smell amazing, and make your skin feel awesome. If you want to experience all of the products I talked about [plus a hand and body cream] I would start with the travel kit pictured up above. I have been using it for a few weeks and still have a good amount left. Remember to use the code LIVINGINYELLOW for 15% off whatever you order. If you do purchase anything [or heck, win the travel kit being given away below], I’d love to hear what you think after you receive it.
