Today is a day that I want to remember. It officially marks the first day that I am not supposed to be at my “real job” so that I can do what I passionately love, this. While it may be just one day a week that I am here instead of there, I am so thankful. This one day represents so much more than just “a day off from work”. It embodies persistence, support, joys, failures, dreams, dedication, and belief. This space is not about me, but rather you who encourage me to show up daily. You are the ones who keep me going, who push me to think outside the box, who show love on a regular basis even when I don’t always reciprocate it back. You have dared me to dream and not look back even when I couldn’t see what is in front of me. This online world is so much bigger, yet so much smaller, than I ever imagined. When I randomly hit publish on my first blog post I never dreamed that I would be here today still sharing all of life’s crazy/funny/random ramblings. Thank you for all that you have given to me, just by showing up on a regular basis. Without you, this day wouldn’t be possible.
Cheers to a day full of dreams coming true. I am so beyond thankful. And in the words of my trusty banner, YOLO.
