I initially had this master plan of revealing my grand idea that I spoke about on Thursday to you readers this weekend.
But then two things happened:
1. I didn’t get all the pieces of my idea put together.
&
2. I got distracted from “blogger land”..majorly.
Blog, meet your worst enemies. Aka my distractions:
That’s right.
I went out with friends, sat outside slurping down my DD ice tea while reading a fabulous book, had a cuddle/nap festival with my husband on the couch, drove with my dogs head out the window, played in the grass with my niece, dressed nautical with one of my besties (not planned), sat through a wonderful church service learning about The Good Life, spent hours on a motorcycle (and laughed at the motorcycle hair-dos it caused), sat lakeside delighting in a mid-day drink & appetizer, bought ice cream from an ice cream truck, and managed to get a tan along the way.
It was heavenly.
Sorry blog, but I’ll take those distractions any day.
