2011

I have been craving some Vitamin D lately. And I mean lots of it. Lying on a beach under the warmth of the sunshine is definitely high priority for me right now. However, Mother Nature had something different in store for me, and it had nothing to do with Vitamin D. Last night we were hit with the “Blizzard of 2011” which meant winds of 40+ Mph, and snow fall of approximately 12-18 inches. While this could bum me out totally, it provided for one of the most relaxing, fun, evenings we have had in our household for awhile. Oh and super perk-no work this morning J So what did we fill our time with? Pulled pork sandwiches that were brewed up all day in the Crockpot, Wine (that could be a given on any night in my household though), Watching Step-brothers..Absolutely hilarious movie that I somehow managed to not see until last night, and some good ole fashioned game playing. Shawn might’ve kicked my butt but oh well. It was fun. Fun that only a snowfall like this could’ve produced. So, I guess for now I will put my dreams of sunshine and warm weather on hold, and enjoy this day not working, laying on the couch, and dreaming up more blog posts J
