Well, come on in friends! ☀️ We’ve been whipping up something special across the street from our lake house – what we’ve been calling the lakeside apartment! We are hoping it’s a fun, cozy, and inviting place to hang out for extra guests, friends, and for our nieces and nephews to have their own spot when they visit!

Believe it or not, this little space has been sitting unfinished since we got the lake house in 2020, and it feels so good to finally have it ready for guests! There’s definitely more character, artwork, and fun touches that we still want to add, but it’s in a good enough place to welcome guests [some of the girls from the Funded By LIY retreat got to officially break it in, which was so fun!]. Maybe I’ll even pop over there for a little staycation [joking….well, maybe I’m not…😜] from time to time!

Most of the furniture and decor so far are finds from Wayfair, Target, West Elm, and Home Depot, and I’ll keep adding to it as more pieces come in. I can’t wait to take you along on the rest of the journey [see a video walk through in action here!] from the design process to the details that will make this little apartment truly come to life!

Now that the basics are in place, let’s take a peek inside and see how the space is coming together so far and stay tuned as I keep adding the finishing touches!
