I can’t believe that our little 3 lb preemie is already 9 months old, starting to crawl around, yelling “BA-BA-BA” every time he opens his mouth, kissing himself in every mirror that he sees, and truly, just gets sweeter with age. So many mom’s told me that this 9-month age range was their favorite and I can see why. He’s not totally mobile yet, but we don’t have to hold him every second of the day – his personality is starting to shine more and more [the giggles, gosh the giggles], yet he can’t talk back, and it’s just such a fun age and I’m just so grateful to experience it all.
I thought it’d be fun to share some of his favorites as he’s approaching one year when it comes to what toys he is playing with, his favorite books for us to read, his swimming must-haves, and more! Whether you’re a new mom with a similar aged baby, or you’re shopping for a mom to be, this is a great database of Crew approved favorites! Let’s dig into his toy chest and see what we pull out…
Toys + Playing

Boy, does this kid love to play. Our favorite way to introduce new toys for the age he is in that encourages sensory play is a Lovevery subscription. I signed up for this when he was a newborn and every 2 months they send a new kit. Their toys are so well made and I love that they are specific to the exact age he is at that time! Otherwise, he has plenty of other toys he’s been given as gifts — here a few of his favorites right now he reaches for often:
Books

This kid loves to be read to. Morning, day, or night, he can’t get enough of feeling the pages and listening to the sounds — at the top of his list: Little Blue Truck. It’s an absolute must! Beep Beep!
Outdoor Play

I’m so happy that Crew loves water right now as his mom and dad love to be in or near it as much as possible. This under $10 float has been the best for letting him float around while we’re with him!
Eating + Teething

I will never not think a baby sitting in a highchair waiting for their next meal is the cutest thing on the planet. I don’t know if it’s the little feet sticking out or the straps that look like overalls, but I’d feed the kid hourly just to catch another glance at this. Here are all of his favorite utensils, suction toys, and bottles!
And that concludes the list of what Crew told me to share with all of you today 😉 For a full line-up of everything he is loving right now, scroll through the following — come back in a few months to see what he can’t get enough of at O-N-E. How is that possible?
