It’s officially starting to feel like fall here in Indiana and we’re slowly but surely transitioning our wardrobes with the season. And with a new season, comes new trends in the fashion world! Full disclosure: even as a fashion blog, we can be hesitant to hop aboard the latest style trends. We get it. Trying new things can be scary and no, I still don’t feel cool enough to wear leopard pants or barrel jeans. A girl can dream, right? 😉 Never fear! We won’t be giving up our skinny jeans and riding boots anytime soon but we are dipping our toes into a few of the latest trends for fall – with a little help from Nordstrom, that is!

Yes, cords are back friends – whether you like it or not, they are here to stay [at least for a season ;)] While they may be giving you some flashbacks to middle or high school, I’m kinda diggin’ the trend again! You either love ’em or you hate ’em! As for me, I’m in looooove! I know they aren’t for everyone, but I love the interesting silhouette of barrel jeans. I also LOVE how comfy they are. I am one happy girl to be officially broken up with skinny jeans! These Free People Good Luck Barrel jeans are pretty exaggerated, but if you want to try the trend without fully committing, there are SO many good options on Nordstrom with various barrel-ness! Don’t knock ’em til you try ’em!
