If there’s one thing you know about the ladies that make up the Living in Yellow team, it’s that we love to shop online! Shopping for ourselves, shopping for others, shopping for our homes, shopping for our pups, we do it all! We spend a lot of time perusing the digital storefronts. So come holiday season, when our family members start asking for our wishlists, you know we’ve got healthy lists started! We thought it’d be fun to share each of our wishlists with you, and tell you a bit about us and why those things made our lists [ya know, in case you need an idea or two to add to your own list ;)]! With so many different styles and interests represented, there’s a little bit of everything here! So take a scroll down the page, get to know the team, and click the tiny arrows to browse through each of our full lists. Happy, happy holidays from our LIY fam to yours!
Once again, I had no shortage of finding items that I’d love to have wrapped for me under the Christmas tree this year [oops ;)]. With building a house in Florida, my mind has been dreaming up all of the items I want to fill it with — from cozy blankets to the cutest wine glasses, games for the family to play, and of course, a fancy coffee maker for those early mornings [and afternoon] treats. Probably at the top of the list, this adorable dog treat jar that I can envision sitting so cutely on our kitchen counters. It’s the little things in life.
Nothing about my wishlist surprises me….. Every year I tell myself I’m going to go a different route, or I’ll find more practical things and the occasional; “I don’t need anything this year, just my family” [which is also, very true] and somehow I’m 40 items deep into my wishlist. Per the usual, my wishlist consists of the “finer” things in life with a mix of practical Kitchen items, Lemon Lavender Donut mix [really hope that’s in my stocking ;)], sweaters/sweatshirts that caught my attention and the NEW and improved Deluxe Little Green Pet Machine [with two dogs and kids at home, that one seemed like a no brainer]. What can I say, I am who I am the finer things with a mix of the practical items!
Heyyyyyyy y’all! Katy here, connections coordinator here at LIY 💛 I am originally an Arkansas girl but am here in Indiana by way of my hubby who just started his Family Medicine Residency! We are expecting our first child (very) soon and are so excited for this new chapter and adventure of life! With that said, I am looking at a lot of time at home coming up so I want to be as cozy as possible. In that theme, I would love a super fluffy insert for my duvet and this diffuser to have in our bedroom. I also added a lot of hydration items to my wishlist 😂 including this tumbler for water or iced coffees! I’m big on going to YouTube for workouts at home, but need some pretty weights to have on hand. Cheers to a happy and healthy holiday season!
Hey hey there! Macy here – the photographer here at LIY. When I’m not behind the camera you can find me spending time with my husband and our two little ones. I am a total homebody and homemaker. Most of my days are spent at home with my family so it only makes sense to have lots of cozy pieces on my wishlist this year. You will also find some kitchen items, beauty products and a few other fun items I’ve had my eye on. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Cozy up!
Hello, hello! I’m Steph, Director of Operations here at LIY! Throughout the past few years I have become more of a homebody than I ever thought possible for me, and I’m finding myself loving all things that enrich my time here. As a former social butterfly, I definitely struggle to sit still and just lounge while home, but would pick staying in over going out most any day! On my list you’ll find all sorts of home things, from this book reading valet for my nightstand, and books for said valet! I’ve also included a few treat my’self items that I’d love to have, but won’t tend to buy for myself – like the beloved Shark hairdryer!
Hi friends! My name is Cassidy and I am the Director of Marketing here at LIY! In my wishlist you will find all the things that bring me joy. From blankets and towels to a cute pair of sneakers. I am the ultimate homebody and wanna be interior designer. Lately I have been enjoying hosting my friends and family so you will see some of my most wanted cookware and home decor must haves! I am also a lover of games, both board games and video games, so the VR set definitely made my list!
Santa baby, place an outdoor pizza oven under the tree for me. Just when I find myself saying “I don’t need anything else” I go and find all these items to put on my wishlist! A mix of comfy, cozy, and getting the house in order! First of all, this perfume smells INSANE – on a recent girls trip to Rosemary Beach, 6 of us women fell in love with it! Also I think I gasped out loud when I saw the beverage dispenser stand, and these chairs need to find their way into my basement ASAP!
Hey all, Claire here! If your favorite hobby is being snuggled up at home, sipping a glass of red wine – we’d get along just fine. As an enneagram 9 [shoutout to my fellow Peacemaker’s!], my wishlist is jam-packed full of all the comfy-cozy essentials and a few splurge items I’ve had my eye on throughout the year! In the warmer months, I spend a lot of time on the lake or near the water and I’ve been seeing this waterproof tote everywhere – perfect for the boat or beach! Pleaseeee, Santa!? As a self proclaimed cocktail connoisseur, it should come as no surprise that this shaker made the list too! Of course, if a lowkey night in is more your speed, I’ve got you covered with the softest lounge sets, cozy boots, and a candle that’s to die for! From lounging at home all winter, to lounging on the boat all summer, there’s a little something for every occasion! Cheers to the holiday season, friends!
