The Biggest Our Place Sale Of The Year

November 22, 2022

By:

Erin Schrader

Disclosure: Thank you to Our Place and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post. All products were selected and loved by yours truly.

One of my favorite weeks of the year is here — it’s Thanksgiving which means I’m extra grateful for all of the delicious food I’m about to consume 😉 If there was ever a time for carbs to have their time to shine, it’s now and I am here for it.

What I’m also here for when it comes to time in the kitchen: the Our Place Black Friday sale [aka the biggest and BEST sale they have all year]! Friends, you’ve heard me talk about the Always Pan and the Perfect Pot over and over [and over] again and….

Right now you can save up to 30% off on the internet’s favorite cookware!

That’s right – all of their pots, pans, ovenware, plates, glasses, etc are marked down to prices you’ll never see this low again! Not only is it the best time to buy for yourself, they also make for an awesome gift to give [fun fact: The Always Pan was one of the top asked-for gifts by the LIY Community last year and this year!] Santa, feel free to stick any pan under the tree [how cute is the mini?!] and I’ll be happy.

Another new favorite kid on the block? This ovenware set. It *might* be giving the Always Pan a run for its money on my list of favorite kitchen products. First, just look at how pretty and shiny she is.

I love that it is 5 different pieces all in one set [and that they all happen to fit together for maximum storage space]. Here is what is included:

  • An ultra-versatile Oven Pan for baking and roasting that also works as a stovetop griddle
  • The Bakers, a trio of stoneware baking dishes ranging in 3 sizes for all of your main and side dishes
  • A nontoxic, reusable Oven Mat.

This set is perfect for holiday hosting as you can do your cookies or roasted vegetables on the oven pan, and your mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and macaroni and cheese in your bakers. Speaking of mashed potatoes and green bean casserole, these happen to be my two favorite Thanksgiving sides [insert drooling mouth emoji here].

The Pioneer Woman’s Mashed Potatoes

Prep Time 1 hour
Cook Time 30 minutes
Servings 10

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs Russet or Yukon Potatoes
  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Half and Half
  • 1/2 tsp Lawry's Seasoning Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and halve the potatoes. Bring a large pot of water to a simmer and add the potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 to 35 minutes. When they’re cooked through, the fork should easily slide into the potatoes with no resistance, and the potatoes should almost, but not totally, fall apart.

  2. Drain the potatoes in a large colander. When the potatoes have finished draining, place them back into the dry pot and put the pot on the stove. Mash the potatoes over low heat, allowing all the steam to escape, before adding in all the other ingredients.

  3. Turn off the stove and add 1 ½ sticks of butter, an 8-ounce package of cream cheese and about ½ cup of half-and-half. Mash, mash, mash! Next, add about ½ teaspoon of Lawry’s Seasoning Salt and ½ a teaspoon of black pepper. Taste test and if you need additional half and half, seasoning salt, or pepper, add away!

  4. Stir well and place in a medium-sized baking dish. Throw a few pats of butter over the top of the potatoes and place them in a 350-degree oven and heat until butter is melted and potatoes are warmed through.

Cooking with the The Always Pan and The Perfect Pot and now, the ovenware set truly makes hosting a breeze, from serving to clean-up [thanks to the non-toxic, super nonstick ceramic coating that doesn’t contain harmful materials, I can quickly wipe off any “mess” from the bottom of the pan in just a few wipes which makes clean-up quick and pain-free]! Add in their other handy features like the built-in spatula rest, and easy pour spouts, and I feel like I save dirtying so many other dishes because I can do everything with these! Whatever you do — take advantage of this sale, you won’t regret it!

Bon appetite, friends!
