I’ve never been one to follow the rules. From speed limits to meeting deadlines and that whole “no white jeans until after Memorial Day”, I just can’t obey. I am not sure who created that silly wardrobe rule, but friend I’m here to tell you, it’s time to break it. The only reason I can think it was ever put into play is because most women like to make the switch from red wine to white wine somewhere near the beginning of summer and well, when you’re talking white denim, we all know red wine mix with your favorite white jeans [been there, done that]. Let this be a lesson to all of us – start making the switch earlier in the year so we can maximize our time to let our white denim shine!

Now, when talking about white denim selections, you better believe the first place I’m going to look is Nordstrom [which also happens to be the first place I look for anything that I need in my closet]! The Skinny Jean

Skinny jeans will never be a thing of the past for me [although I should learn by now to “never say never” when it comes to fashion]. This pair with the raw hem is a great price point and is super comfortable and stretchy for days on the go!

The Straight Leg Jean

It took me a solid year of straight leg jeans being on the scene before I got comfortable with them…and now they are all I want to wear. Give me anything Liverpool and I’m sold. This pair has so much personality going for it – from the raw hem to the slight distressing, it’s a cool pair you can dress up or down!

We can’t talk about white denim for spring without having a pair of white jean shorts included. It is HARD to find a pair of great white shorts – the first concern [as with any and all white denim] is sheerness. Thankfully, these don’t have any of that! I love that these are a 4-inch inseam and if you haven’t caught on by now, I have a thing for raw edges. Rules and clean hemlines: two things I could live without 😉

The Boyfriend Jean

Last but not least, the boyfriend jeans. While these are the biggest splurge of the bunch, I know this brand will last for years. They are high-quality, high visual appeal. I love the cuffs and looser fit for a relaxed summer look!
