If you’ve followed along for any length of time now, you’ve probably seen a few of our smiling faces around these parts. They are my friends. My dream makers, problem solvers, shoulders to cry on, brains behind it all and my greatest assets – they are the Living In Yellow team. This group of girls has evolved and grown over the past several years and now sits at nine of us, all doing our thing[s] to help keep LIY afloat. Because our ultimate goal is to create a space here that feels like girlfriends hanging out with one another, we thought it would be fun to share a bit about us so you get to know the girls behind the blog [quirks and all]! Just like all women with a passion for fashion, we each have our own personal style, taste, and favorite brands to shop. Hey friends, Erin here – the founder and CEO of Living in Yellow! A true Enneagram 7, I’m great at starting things, but the finishing part is where I struggle (insert the beautiful ladies you see below). When I’m not in front of a mirror snapping what I’m wearing for the day, dreaming up the next idea for LIY, or posting away over on our social channels, I love spending time with my husband and two pups, Max and Ollie. I can’t say no to a great cocktail, tator tots with a side of cheese, or the latest self help/business book, and am always scheming where I can travel to next (give me the water any day of the week and I’ll be happy). Hello, I’m Becca, Living in Yellow’s Creative Director. My role at LIY comprises ideas, aesthetics, strategy and all sorts of other fun projects that the team dreams up! I curate the latest & greatest content you see on the blog, designed our Life + Style Planner, and do my best to keep LIY moving forward in new and exciting ways. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me in the kitchen with a glass of wine in hand while I cook up some exciting new recipe I have never tried before. I have a deep desire to see the world [and share every bit of it with my hubby and two year old daughter], but also content most of the time to snuggle up by the fire for yet another marathon of Gilmore Girls or Harry Potter.

Steph here, Director of Operations! I keep myself busy behind the scenes over here at LIY – leading the Operations Department, organizing sponsored and non sponsored content, and communicating with the amazing brand partners we’re blessed to work with.  If there’s a project with a lot of details, you can typically find me knee deep sorting it all out and loving every second of turning chaos into order. When I’m not behind the screen, you’ll find me at home with my husband, three kids and dog – most likely in the kitchen trying out some new recipe concoction, playing games, working on a puzzle or reading.

When I’m not working on coming up with designs for our clothing brand WE by Living in Yellow or collaborations with Gibsonlook or Liverpool L.A., I’m sharing all the best finds on social media, whipping up the latest Weekly Roundup Blog Post and clipping current fashion magazines with jaw dropping inspiration. Outside of all things fashion, I’m an energetic mom to 2 busy kiddos, wife and can be found trying out any cookie I can get my hands on, all while watching a throwback Friends or the Office episode. Hey girls, heyy! I’m Claire, one of the Content Creators [and official LIY Book Club aficionado] here at Living in Yellow. Between writing blog posts that I hope you’ll love and curating questions that will get your brain turning for our next book club discussion, I’d be voted most likely to be snuggled up with a good book and glass of vino in tow! Working primarily from home, I’m all about dressing for comfort without sacrificing style – aside from the occasional PJ’s-all-day days. Lately I’ve been receiving an embarrassing amount of packages from Amazon, Abercrombie & Fitch, Nordstrom [plus The Rack, of course], Target, and find myself venturing into Ulta – just because – more times than I’d like to admit. While I’m drawn to anything pink, floral, and feminine, you better believe I won’t pass up a day on the boat – fishing pole in one hand, cold beer in the other. Cheers, friends!

Oh heyyy there! Lauren here, one of the team’s content creators! From writing blog posts to rockin’ and rollin’ in our Amazon Exclusive Facebook Group, I absolutely love being a part of the LIY Team!  When I’m not whipping out new content for LIY, you can find me hanging with my hubs and two little boys, checking off that season’s bucket list, and working on house projects out here in the Michigan country. With dreams of living on the water, and a deep appreciation to 2000’s hip hop, I’m always up for an adventure while secretly hoping I can hang out in the tub with a glass of wine.  I find myself shopping at Nordstrom, Target, Amazon, and JCrew the most, as well as a few local boutiques, and tend to only wear items that are somewhat comfortable and toddler proof!

Heyyyy y’all – I’m Katy! I am the Community Support Specialist here at LIY which basically means that I can be found chatting it up with you, all day every day. I also lead up our Ambassador program and love sharing my favorite finds! I am an Arkansas girl #whooopigsooie who married an Indiana boy by way of Nashville, TN. Are ya following me here? 😂 I am a singer/songwriter in the Country/Americana band Maybe April, but you can find me listening to almost any type of music. As an  Enneagram 3 I don’t let myself have tooooo much free time, but when I do I LOVE doing anything outdoors soaking up the sun (especially if that means being on some sort of body of water), trying out a new restaurant or brewery, hanging with my family, friends, and husky Frisco, or traveling (trying to check off all 50 states!). Style wise, I  love mixing things up and trying new trends. Lately I’ve been loving shopping all things Amazon, Target, Abercrombie, and American Eagle!
