The time for the Great Christmas Tree Debate is here! You know, the debate over when is the “right” time to put up the tree. While we don’t believe in a “right or wrong” time to decorate around here, we do believe in making the process as stress-free as possible. So whether your tree is already up, or you’re pushing it off until after Thanksgiving [orrrr.. the night before Christmas 😉 ], we’re sharing our latest breakthrough in holiday decor hacks.
The LIY Team recently kicked off the holidays with a little friendly competition of tree decorating. That’s right – we love just about anything that can be turned into a game around here. Here’s how it worked: we split into two teams and set a timer for 10 minutes. Each team got a chance to decorate the tree, and to our surprise, we ended up having time left over – meaning we decorated our trees in less than 10 minutes! To top it off – literally – we added a Star Tree Topper, wrapped it all with garland, and finished up with a tree skirt to pull it all together. Of course, this wasn’t a one woman show. If you have a few helping hands around the house, we recommend recruiting as many elves as you can to speed up the process and soak up the holiday cheer!
