Aundrea here to remind the nation just how fabulous and trendy us teachers are! With the teaching through a computer screen in our rearview mirror, our fashion choices should never be in the past! The 2020-2021 school year has come and seems to be zooming right by us all! With so many unexpected turns of last year, this year has offered many of us more freedom, stability, and frequent quick snuggles, high fives, and smiles from our favorite little friends. We thought why not bring some unexpected prints, colors, and style into the teacher capsule! This will offer you more fun, unique, trendy, and a little spice to your student days! LIY loves us teachers! I’ve been teaching for 5 years and I must admit, I find myself repeating more outfits than I care to admit. Trust me when I say this capsule will provide us with outfit inspiration for years to come! I hope you all love these pieces as much as I do!
If you aren’t familiar with what a capsule wardrobe is, I’ll quickly explain – a capsule wardrobe is where you take several pieces (15-20) that all work together within your wardrobe to interchange and get creative with. The point behind a capsule wardrobe is to minimize the number of items you have on hand while maximizing the number of ways you can wear each piece. From a creativity standpoint, it’s awesome – a capsule wardrobe will force you to be more intentional about making sure all items work together in multiple ways, which really will make you feel like you have a closet full of options with just a few pieces! This not only creates a lot less headache and time in the morning when deciding what to wear but also saves you money as well. I think we can agree that we like saving on all of the above! Below, you’ll find a list of every piece we used to create the capsule and 60+ [yes, 6-0!] ways to style them. So without further ado, let’s build a Fall Capsule Wardrobe…
PS you can find all of our capsule wardrobes for every season here!
